He nodded, stepping onto the ground. "Ready," he replied, holding his arms out.

She got down onto her stomach and passed it to him, making sure he had a firm grip on the box.
He took the box from her and set it down on the floor.
She started to make her way down the ladder.
He smiled softly at her, helping her down.
"No problem, kitty cat," he said, taking the box over to the bed. "Now, movie time."
She laid down on the bed, smiling eagerly.
He pulled the DVD out and put it in the DVD player before walking over to the bed.
She opened her arms, winking at him.
He smiled and laid down next to her, pulling her close.
She leaned her head on his shoulder and smiled when the movie started to play.
He wrapped his arms around her, smiling softly.
"The story line is pretty stupid if you think about it" she comment.
"How so?" He asked, looking over at her skeptically.
"Aurora gets saved by a prince because of her looks. That's it. If she was not so good looking would he have kissed her? Probably not. Then, even though they probably don't even know each other's name, they get married. I find that pure stupidity."
He shook his head. "Oh, come on. It's true love and all. Our entire relationship is built off that premise."
She pulled back and narrowed her eyes, crossing her arms. "Wait, are you saying that you only like me because we're meant to be together?"
"Uh, I don't understand the question," he said, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Tyler Mason, are you trying to tell me something?" she scowled.
"Uh, I'm very confused," he admitted, eyes widening. "What's happening exactly?"
She go up and stormed out of the room, throwing her promise ring at him in the process.
"Stevie," he protested, catching the ring and scrambling after her. "What did I do?"
She clenched her jaw, walking away briskly.
"Stevie, whatever it is, I'm sorry," he said, catching up with her and grabbing her hand.
She pulled her hand away from his grasp and turned towards him, crossing her arms.
"What's wrong?" He asked softly, frowning.
"Is our relationship fake?" she asked bluntly, looking away so he wouldn't see the hurt in her eyes.
"What do you mean? Of course not," he said, grabbing her hand.
"Do you only like me because of the stupid spell thing?" she rephrased, separating their hands again.
"Of course not," he said, stepping towards her.
"Then why did you say our relationship is basically like Sleeping Beauty's?" she said quietly, turning away.
"Because... well, our first kiss and everything," he offer weakly.
She sighed, "That's why I'm saying, do you really love me? Or are you only with me because of our first kiss and all of those meaningless spells?"
"I love you," he said softly. ""Because you're you and you're amazing."
She looked back at him, disbelief in her eyes.
"You need to listen to me. You are amazing and beautiful," he said, taking her hand.
She took a step back, "No, I'm not."
"Really?" she whispered, looking him in the eye?
"Absolutely," he said. "How many times do I have to tell you?"
She gave him a tight hug, "I'm so sorry for doubting you. It's just, everything in life before ended so badly..."
He hugged her back tightly, sighing in relief. "I'm not going to let this end badly I promise you."
She smiled softly, "Should we get back to the movies?"
He nodded, smiling at her. "Okay, yeah."
She laced their fingers together and headed back to her cabin.
He followed her, smiling softly. "Um, do you want the ring back?" He asked gently.
She blushed and nodded, looking down.
He smiled, slipping the ring back on her finger carefully. "Okay, good."
"Sorry for being such a diva," she said softly. "I didn't even know that was possible."
