Apollo's Cabin
"Yes. We think Thad had an allergic reaction to the medicine he was given- maybe the nectar." "What are you saying?" Tess says quietly.
Tess stands up,"You should sit back down, Tessalyn.""I want to go see him."
"No."
((Brb))"I'm afraid not... I don't know how to put this Tessalyn..."
"No- he was fine. He's not that badly injured." Tess says."I'm sorry."
"He's not!!"
"No. No. No you're wrong!" she says. The boy decides it's best to leave.
She grips his hand shaking as they walk
Tess enters the cabin feeling both numb and heartbroken.
"I don't even know what to do Eric? What am I supposed to do?"
She sniffs and holds him,"I want him back."
She had run out of tears and now felt tired and confused. "I don't understand."
"I want him back." she says crying again
Tess cries a little while with him. She couldn't even process all this right now- she just felt drained.
She felt like fighting, and screaming, and breaking down but just couldn't seem to do any of that. She just cries quietly in Eric's arms.
Tess sniffles- half asleep in Eric's arms. Her throat is sore and eyes bloodshot.
Stevie winced but kept watching. Apollo frowned and the room started to heat up a bit. After a minute of uncomfortable silence, Apollo calmed down and smiled softly.
"Hun, I know this is hard for you. So I wanted to make it up with a gift."
Tess buries her face in his chest as he does and stays there
"I don't know what I'd do without you." she whispers, "I love you." she clutches him close. Gods she couldn't lose him, "Please don't leave."
"Okay." Tess says her voice just above a whisper.
"Not hungry,"she whispers keeping close to him the pain in her voice is evident.
"I guess." she says quietly and gets up with him moving over to her bed.
She keeps her arms around him and closes her eyes but can't sleep.
His presence is comforting and although she doesn't respond much to him- she knows inside he's the only thing keeping her from losing her mind.
Tess sleeps restlessly the covers up to her chin her cheeks a bit stained from tears.
Anisha entered the cabin, dropping her bag on her bunk and sitting on it.
Tess shifts slightly in her sleep but doesn't wake up.
He glanced at her anxiously, kissing her cheek.
Tess cuddles into his chest a bit as she sleeps.
Tess wakes up a bit and looks up at him. She stays very quiet and looks up at him before looking away.
She sighed, shaking her head. "No gift would change my opinion, I'm not that shallow" young Stevie spat. Apollo smirked and pulled from his pocket a full size, pure gold bow with a full quiver.
Her eyes widened as she looked at the bow. "How did you know?" she asked in awe. "A father knows best." Apollo said smiling. She shook her head, "Then why do you look 19?"
He laughed lightly, smiling at her. "Same sassy attitude, huh?" He teased.
She nodded and chuckled softly. "It's my little secret," he said smirking. She shook her head, looking down. "Another question, how come you didn't try to help mom?"
He rested his head against her shoulder, sighing.
"I couldn't," he said softly. "What do you mean 'you couldn't'?" she rasped, her voice rising.
"I was stuck in Olym--" "Couldn't you send a message?" she interrupted, her voice unsteady. "Anything?" she cried quietly. Stevie brushed away a tear that escaped one of her eyes.
He glanced over at her in concern, and pulled her into his arms, hugging her close.
She hugged him back, burying her face in his neck. "Stevie," he started. "Go away," she rasped turning away. "NOW."
He tightened his arms around her, holding her to him protectively. "It's okay," he said softly.
Apollo reach out but then shook his head and disappeared into a flash of light.She bit her lip, breathing heavily.
"What?" Tess asks a bit worried.
