He looked around curiously, taking her hand. "Okay, what do we do?"

"Wanna look around?" she asked, sitting up.
He nodded, getting to his feet and helping her up.
The blood rushed to her head as she stood up and she had to try her hardest not to throw up.
"You okay?" He asked gently, holding her arms to steady her.
She swallowed, "Ya, I'm good. Just a little of motion sickness."
"Okay," he said, keeping his arms around her anyways.
She hugged him close to her, resting her head on his shoulder.
He looked around again, holding onto her.
"Do you know what time it is?" she asked gently.
"I don't have a watch," he muttered. "It was around eleven when we fell in."
"Then it's probably sometime near eleven" she replied shrugging.
He nodded. "Unless we're in an alternate time period," he said softly.
She nodded and looked up, her eyes widening when she saw a someone driving a bike towards them.
He pulled out of the hug, turning and holding her hand.
The bike passed through them like they weren't even there. "What the..." she muttered looking down at her body.
He blinked, glancing around. "Okay, something's up."
"We should walk around. Try and figure out where we are," he suggested.
She nodded and laced their fingers together.
He started walked in the direction the bike had gone, looking around.
She followed behind him, feeling as if she has been here before.
He glanced over at her, squeezing her hand reassuringly. "We need to figure out how to get out."
"And to figure that out, we have to know why the heck are we here in the first place" she added.
"The mirror," he said. "It shows memories. Maybe this is a memory."
Her eyes brightened. "I remember now! I used to live in this area."
He smiled. "So New York then. And it's one of your memories."
"Just which..." Her voice faded out, as she heard a siren in the distance. Letting go of his hand, she raced off towards the crime scene.
"Stevie," he called, racing after her. "Where are you going?"
Just as she remembered, rain started to drip slowly from the sky as she ran from street to street.
"Stevie," he called again, catching up with her. "We need to go inside somewhere."
She shook her head still sprinting. "No, I have to find my mom."
"Why? What's wrong?" He asked, taking her hand.
She squeezed his hand, dragging him with her. "Today is the day where my mom died," she explained. "I want to see her one last time."
He nodded silently, gripping her hand tightly. "Where are we going?"
"An abandoned warehouse," she said running a bit faster.
He hurried his pace to keep up with her, staying close by her side.
"Thank you for being supportive," she whispered to him.
"Come on, Stevie. You should know by now. I'm always going to be here for you," he whispered back.
After they turned the last corner, she sucked a breath in. There was police cars, ambulances, and even fire trucks EVERYWHERE.
He squeezed her hand and pulled her forward. "What happened?" He whispered.
"This is where she got shot," she whispered under her breath, tears clouding her eyes.
He moved his arm around her waist, pulling her closer.
She rested her head in his neck and sobbed lightly. You shouldn't have come here, a voice in her mind scolded her.
He held her tight, rubbing her back gently. "It's okay," he said softly. "It'll be okay."
Mom? she thought, quite surprised. Yes it's me, now stop your sobbing. It's doing you no good her mom replied in her mind.
"Stevie?" He asked softly, kissing her cheek. "You alright?"
She nodded slowly, wondering weather she should tell him about her mom talking to her or not.
"What do you wanna go do?" He asked softly.
"Go back to Camp," she said softly, wiping her eyes. Good bye mom, she thought to herself.
