"Try touching the surface of the mirror," she suggested.
"Okay," he said slowly, tapping the mirror tentatively.
The images kept blurring by without hesitation. Stevie shook her head in confusion.
"You wanna try?" He asked, shrugging.
"Sure," she said reaching for the mirror.
He passed it over to her, leaning his head on her shoulder.
Once the images were flashing by, she touched the mirror and gasped at the place in the mirror.
"What is it?" he asked, looking at her anxiously.
She bit her lip, "It's... It's my old apartment."
She squeezed his hand, staring at the mirror.
"Do you know what it's doing there?" He asked softly.
She shook her head weakly, the memories becoming hard to bare. ((Sorry :( I was watching a movie with family and friend.))
"Are you okay?" He asked softly, moving closer to her. ((No problem. :) ))
She placed the mirror down and pulled him into a hug. "Not really," she replied, resting her head on his shoulder.
He wrapped his arms around her waist tightly, kissing her forehead. "Talk to me, sweetheart. What's wrong?"
"The memory of my mom's death won't get out of my head" she admitted quietly.
He nodded solemnly. "I'm sorry. Do you want to talk about it?" He asked gently, running his fingers through her hair.
"A little bit," she said softly, kissing his cheek.
He held her close, kissing her nose gently. "I'm here for you. You can let it out."
She took a deep breath, burying her face in his neck. "Where to start..." she muttered to herself.
He pulled her into his lap, kissing her neck and her jaw gently.
She cuddled closer to him, draping her arms around his neck.
He rocked her back and forth gently, rubbing her back.
At first, she tried to sort out her thoughts about the incident but after a while, she gave up and relaxed in his arms.
He held onto her, humming gently in her ear. "What do you need me to do to help you?"
"What your doing right now is perfect" she replied, looking lovingly into his eyes.
He smiled back at her, kissing her nose. "Really? Because if you need anything or if there's anything I can do, I'm here."
She kissed him lightly on the lips. "I'll keep that in mind."
He nodded, resting his forehead against hers.
"So why do you think that image was in the mirror?" He asked gently.
"I think the mirror might show places in your memory" she said shrugging.
