She pouted, smirking on the inside. "I promise the dare I have isn't THAT bad."
"Alright, then dare," he said hesitantly.
She smirked wickedly. "I dare you to go outside, in the rain, and scream at the top of your lungs: I LOVE PANCAKES!!!!"
He groaned. "I knew this was a mistake," he muttered, getting up.
She got up after him chuckling, "It's not that bad though!"
He shook his head. "You're evil," he said teasingly as he walked towards the door hesitantly.
She laced their fingers together, "I'll be right beside you the whole time if you want."
"No, you don't have to get cold and wet too," he protested, pulling his hand away gently. "I'll be right back."
She followed him to the door, "Well, if you change your mind I'm right here."
He shook his head and kissed her forehead. "No, you stay here," he instructed, stepping outside.
She just noticed how hard it was raining and tried not to laugh.
He took five steps forward, squeezing his eyes shut. "I love pancakes!" He shouted and dashed back inside.
She laughed and moved out of the way when he rushed back in. ((Brb))
"I hate you," he said, sticking out his tongue at her. He shook himself off like a dog, still dripping wet from head to toe.
She smirked, "You're such a wimp." She stepped outside and walked to a bench, sitting down like nothing was wrong.
"Hey, those are my clothes," he protested, charging out after her.
She laughed and leaned back. "Relax, it's just rain."
She pinched his cheek, "Someone's cranky."
"I'm wet and I'm cold when five minutes ago we were warm and cozy in our perfect fort," he griped, crossing his arms.
"Wanna make a bet to see who can stay out here longer?" she challenged.
"No, I want to go back inside and dry off," he replied sourly.
She sighed, smiling softly. "You look like you need a hug," she teased, hugging him close to her.
"Well, it makes me feel better," he replied, hugging her back.
"Let's go back inside now," he pleaded, holding her close.
She laughed, "Sure." and stood up.
"Thank the gods," he mutter, hopping to his feet and dragging her inside.
She smiled and let him pull her inside.
He went straight over to the bathroom, pulling out a towel and draping it over her shoulders.
"I'm not even that cold," she protested before slightly shivering.
He shook his head. "Doesn't matter, you could still get pneumonia or hypothermia," he protested, grabbing a towel for himself before pulling her into a hug.
She hugged him tight, enjoying the extra warmth.
"Are you cold?" He asked softly. "Tell me honestly."
"A bit," she admitted, "what about you?"
"Yeah, kinda," he agreed, bringing her closer.
He sighed softly, kissing her forehead. "Isn't this much better?"
"It is," he insisted. "It's cold out there."
"I find it refreshing," she reasoned.
"I find it cold," he replied, smirking.
He stepped back, using the towel to dry himself off."
She also dried herself off, leaving her hair for last.
He smiled at her, setting the towel aside, and making his way to the fort.
She quickly dried her hair and followed him.
He smiled at her, sitting down on the bed and turning around.
She crawled near him and sat beside him.
