Carrie walked in with her head held low
"Hi" says Paul noticing the newcomer.
Tess smirks, "I believe you were going to kiss me- I could be wrong though."
Tess smiles letting him kiss her and kissing him back. She walks over and lays back down on the bed not wanting to stand too long on her leg.
She grins simply loving that he's there. She cuddles up against him.
"Love you, Eric." she says keeping her eyes closed.
He is warm and Tess feels so relaxed with him there she can't help getting a bit sleepy.
"mm. A little." she mumbles into his chest.
Tess pulls the covers over her still leaning up against him. She smiles, "I like when you sing." she comments quietly.
"Good night, Sweetheart." she mumbles falling asleep.
Tess wakes up the next morning feeling strong arms gently draped over her and smiles not moving.
Tess smiles, deciding to let him wake up on his own and closes her eyes simply enjoying the moment.
Tess looks at him placing a hand on his chest, "Eric? You okay?"
"I was up." Tess says dismissively. "You sure you're okay?" she asks laying beside him concerned.
"How did you get that?" Tess asks noticing.
Tess nods, "Was that what your nightmare was about?"
"I know what you mean- sometimes feeling helpless is the scariest thing of all."
Tess smiles back and gently kisses his lips, "Let's get something to eat."
"Hi" says Paul coming back from the arena, tierd.
"Naaa. It really hurts, but now i have improved in sword fighting." says Paul.
Tess smiles against his lips kissing him back and puts a hand up to his cheek seeing the ring there as she does and kisses him once more. "Good night." she says.
((Ff to the next morning))Thad paces anxiously waiting for Eric to arrive. He'd been surprised to see his own sister hauled into the infirmary someone had found her passed out and no one knew what happened. He'd brought her back to their cabin and was waiting for her to wake up.
"Over here." Thad calls not pacing anymore, "Don't worry she's not injured I just thought she'd probably want you when she wakes up." he motions to the couch where Tess is lying.
Thad shakes his head, "No idea. I didn't even know she was up and about- someone brought her into the infirmary while I was working." he says watching as Tess shifts slightly in her sleep.
Thad gets up, "I need to head back to the infirmary- I kind of ditched them and brought her here; if anything happens come and let me know." he says trusting Eric will take care of her.
Thad leaves and shortly after Tess groans in her sleep moving again.
"hm? What?" Tess sits up looking around confused.
"My brother? I-I don't remember any of this..." she says looking at him.
