Anyway, whichever girl works best is fine with me. I think Lexi is a little flirty for Brooke's taste, but she likes tall blondes and she doesn't have any problems with flirting or fooling around with attractive people even if they aren't exactly her type personality-wise.

Which of your characters are your favorites? I think right now, my favorite among the ones I am using now is probably Brooke. She is very flawed, but also very outgoing and dynamic. I think I relate more to her fiery, aggressive side as well as her sense of humor and interest in video games nowadays. I think another potential favorite could be Elana or Monica- once I roleplay them more.

once i finish redoing all my characters, i think my favourites may end up changing, but based on past rp's, my favourites would definitely have to be jesse, ash, lexi, and skylar i think... which is ironic because they're all very similar. i think i just like roleplaying my more crass characters, but i also love all of them a lot. i think my remake of easton may end up becoming one of my favourites too once i've roleplayed him some more.

I definitely understand what you mean about how your favorite can change when you redo your characters. Since we are reposting our characters, I have been taking the opportunity to redo/update my characters. I think that might be why I find Monica compelling now. I also re-familiarized myself with her powers as a child of Morpheus, and they are interesting. I can't wait to use them in a roleplay.

i think it's probably because those characters have similarities with some of your characters, so i more used the characters that i had which would've complimented yours? idk lol

and omg that's a rlly hard question, i mean i can't remember a lot of them tbh but i just looked back through my posts on the couples list thread to remind myself of some, so i'd say probably when i had jesse dating muffin's character logan, and then our roleplays of kira and meghan, and quinn and shawna probably stand out as being my favourites that i can remember hahaha. what would you say yours are?

It's okay. I had issues with my group notifications the first couple weeks I was came back to. I guess if you kept your settings to no notifications for an extended period of time, GR has a hard time switching back to giving you all the notifications.

Maybe. I have been looking at a lot of my old characters and noticing I tend to like creating/roleplaying sarcastic and sensitive characters. Many of their characteristics are that of a stereotypical Scorpio. I want to make more characters with different personality types. I noticed, for example, that many people like to create Capricorns who are serious, paranoid, reserved and diligent. I actually know quite a few that are funny, sassy, outgoing, a little bossy, and can be actually very lazy. Maybe I will make my new Eurasian daughter of one of the muses like that.

Hm... I think my favorites were Margot and Ivaaninja's Caleb, Terrence with Sumehra's Val, and Hadley with her Sadie. I am having trouble remembering anyone else right now too. Lol For the characters I have used most, I usually have one favorite relationship for each.

ah yeah i feel like most people get stuck in a stereotype with their characters at some point or another. that’s why i try so hard to make all of mine different lol. but also yeah i’ve also noticed that about people with the whole zodiac thing. although, now that i think about it, i have three capricorns so far and they’re all VERY different. ash is sarcastic, and can tend to be kinda rude at times? sorow is paranoid, as you mentioned, but she’s more of a loner by choice? whereas eris is reserved but because he’s awkward and doesn’t know how to interact with people lol, but i think all 3 of them have the independence and tenacity of a capricorn. idk zodiac signs can be weird like that.

and oh yeah i mean i think i have a lot of characters who haven’t been in relationships tbh? like i can’t recall bri, rhys, sorow, eris, alec, feith, or mack being in any exclusive relationships. and lexi, of course, but that’s a whole other story hahahahahaha

Yeah, that would be why I don't really create my characters based on zodiac signs. When I put their zodiac signs down, many of them could be a couple different ones. For example, I feel like Kendra could be a Libra or an Aries. Brooke is like a combination of Aries and Scorpio. Astrid- who is like a combination of Thursday and Shawna- could be either a Capricorn or a Virgo.

My sister is actually a Capricorn and she is all of the characteristics I described. She isn't paranoid or that reserved. She is actually very trusting and caring. She is also a big social butterfly. Hm, maybe I will make that unfinished character a combination of Capricorn and Aquarius. Lol For some reason, I have never created any characters with very Aquarian traits.

Yeah. Right now, most of my current active characters haven't been in relationships yet, but then again, most of them are relatively new. Many of them I created in late 2016 to 2017, but I just never really used them that much. Either that or I would try them with different characters and they wouldn't work out. I think Heather was the last one I created before I kind of disappeared most of the next two years, but during my absence, I very slowly worked on my daughters of Hephaestus and Melinoe.

yeah, i originally didn't have birthdays for my characters, but for this remake, i'm giving them some lol. but i've definitely found that a lot of them could be multiple zodiac signs, like i struggled picking between sagittarius and pisces for kira, but ultimately chose pisces. on the other hand, there's been a few that i've known instantly which zodiac they'd be, like pyper who is a clear scorpio, and rhys who is practically the definitive leo lmao.

i just finished remaking alec, who i made an aquarius lol. i'm pretty sure i made jesse an aquarius as well.

yeah i mean a lot of mine i just never found someone who was was both active enough to roleplay an exclusive relationship, and also had characters that suited my character fully.

Lol A lot of Aquariuses. I think I have a hard time relating to most people that fall under that zodiac. I think many of them are kind of cool, but also a little unapproachable. Obviously, not all of them because one of my closest friends is an Aquarius.

unapproachable is basically textbook for both jesse and alec's personalities lmao. well, not genuinely for either of them but they both have very complicated histories in terms of their approachability. i've been trying to spread around their zodiacs, but i currently have 3 capricorns, 2 aquarius', 2 gemini, and one each of pisces, taurus, cancer, leo, virgo, and scorpio lol. i currently have no aries, libra, or sagittarius', but i'm making feith at the moment, and she's a sagittarius lol

You know, I think I have noticed a couple ways to tell who is queer. One thing I have noticed is that a lot of girls who create a daughter of Hephaestus are queer. I don't know. Maybe all of us just think that the idea of a woman working in the forge or who is good with her hands is cool.

I have also noticed that a lot of people that are queer/bi people tend to have half or more of their characters as the opposite gender. I used to do that too when I first joined. I wanted half my characters girls and half boys- maybe partially because I didn't mind being with someone of the same gender. I remember that after a certain point, almost all my female characters were bi and all my male characters tended to be straight. I have kind of noticed this with a few members over the years.

I am not saying if you fall under either of these categories that you are queer. Just that is what I have noticed.

Lol They are both my characters. They were in a complicated, on-and-off relationship. Brooke is kind of a player and has problems with alcoholism. Kendra is probably the only one that has ever been able to help her be better. Kendra is a healer and tends to be drawn to people with messy/traumatic lives.

I see. Your characters are so fascinating in the sense that they have actual stories / personalities. There are a lot of roleplays (which I had joined when I was younger) where the characters are like undeveloped. Now when I'm older I also observe the same issue and I'm like confused.

Yeah, I try to make them as realistic as possible. I know that a lot of people kind of just roleplay their characters based on how they feel, but I usually try to roleplay them based on who they are and how they would act. Lol You probably noticed my new character sheet of Skyler. She especially hits very close to home for me since she was my first character in this group and she also deals with a lot of issues that I have gone through.

this is so accurate omg my first 3 characters are all female and are all from before i came out to my self LMAO then i tried to make it as even as possible with my male/female ratio. i've contemplated having a nonbinary character for a while, but as a cis person i'm not sure i have enough knowledge about it to be able to roleplay it accurately so i decided against it. also i have a daughter of hephaestus hahahhaha but that's mostly due to the trying to keep an even ratio, and me having a child of all of the non limited big 12 gods. although i do have to admit, majority of my characters are either bi or pan and that's mostly due to my own bisexuality but oh well lmao

Lol I feel like it would be easier to roleplay someone who is genderfluid. Truthfully, I kind of like the idea of dating someone genderfluid. Someone who can be attractive as a man and a woman? That is kind of hot. Lol Maybe that is a bisexual thing too? I also feel like it should be impossible as a bisexual to be transphobic, because you like men and women. A trans-man with female body parts or a trans-woman with male body parts? What does it matter? I like all of them. Lol

i'd never really thought of that to be honest lol but i guess i just don't have any experience with gender dysphoria and things like that so wouldn't want to represent it inaccurately. also yeah, you'd think transphobia wouldn't be an issue in bisexual people but unfortunately some people just suck lol

I remember that I used to like the idea of creating a daughter of Hecate, but at the time, I think I hadn't read the PJO series yet and I wasn't sure what I would do one. Part of me still likes the idea of making one, but I feel like everyone is creating children of Hecate now and I don't want to just give a godly parent that everyone is using. At this point, I want to try creating characters that are different or have different/lesser known godly parents.

Lol Well, I was thinking like maybe Artemis for a different goddess and because I liked her in books. Or maybe the Muses or lesser known, minor gods/Titans. I also have been thinking of maybe a daughter of Persephone after this one geeky meme I read about how women can be dressed girly with flowery/brightly colored dresses like the goddess of springtime and flowers one day and dress in gothic attire like the Queen of the Underworld.

Yeah, if I come up with a unique personality for her she could be interesting. Otherwise, she could end up very similar to my other characters. After you create enough characters, you tend to find that you end up with characters that are similar to the ones you already made. I think that maybe the one character type I am missing is bubbly- unless you consider my kooky daughter of Morpheus bubbly. I generally don't like roleplaying characters that are bubbly. I tend to roleplay characters that are shy, proper, misunderstood/twisted or sarcastic.

I created a child of Hyperion a few years ago. I think I also created a daughter of Oceanus named Andromeda Ruiz- Andi for short- a couple years ago. I took on the moderator title "Daughter of Metis" for a while, because I feel like she is one of the most chosen godly parents and choosing her mother was different. She is a wisdom goddess without the war aspect Athena has.

So what types of personalities are those? Yeah, I admit some of those attributes I mentioned are very much like me- maybe except for the misunderstood/twisted one. Well, that would also depend on whether you would sometimes consider my sense of humor a little morbid/twisted. I don't normally show that side of my humor to people.
