Adding characters, setting to a series

Hi everyone,

Please help!!!

I'm a little confused about the 'librarian' status. Goodreads allows me to edit certain details of my own novels but when I go to add the 'setting' and/or 'characters' it informs me that only users with librarian status can edit and asks me to apply. Which I thought I did have it in the first place? Perhaps not. Are authors only allowed to edit certain parts of their own work? And is there any other way for me to add these catergories?

Correct. Settings and characters are excluded for reasons of technical limitations, not because we have any concerns about authors adding that information.

If you link to the book(s) in question and specify a list of characters and settings you wish applied, a librarian can add them for you.
