I will read Manda's new book tomorrow but not sure what else

Irisheyes | 896 comments FLIRTING WITH DISASTER by Ruthie Knox. Not sure what's next - I'm in a slump. I'm starting books by auto-buy authors and putting them down. I just can't seem to concentrate on anything.

I've been mostly rereading Balogh, Chase, JAL, Courtney Milan, and others for an essay I'm working on for Heroes & Heartbreakers. I just started Tracy Brogan's Hold on My Heart and I'm really liking it.

I know all about slumps, I sometimes call them readers block!! It only takes one special book to capture you and you will be back in the right reading mode

My latest is THE DINNER BY Herman Koch

Theresa Romain | 420 comments I've been reading more NF and historical fiction lately while I'm on deadline. Just finished The Bookman's Tale: A Novel of Obsession--I love that sort of bookish mystery (and there was a really nice though bittersweet romance at its heart). I want to start Ruthie Knox's Flirting with Disaster next; I've heard nothing but good about it.

That's what I'm hoping for Junek! Just have to find the right one :)

I'm so glad, Deb. I will always be sad that she died before a lot of romance readers ever knew what a good writer she was.

Susan (susaninaz) | 1075 comments I just got Christine Merrill's The Inconvenient Duchess free for my Nook. Fun!

I was able to get three of her books electronically Janga so maybe the others will come out. On a related note, would you be kind enough to tell me where did Janice Kay Johnson publish her self-pub stuff?

I bought them on Amazon, Deb. Here's the link to the one I liked best. The others should show up below as recommended reads.
