I am not trying to push you either way, by the way. I just thought it might be helpful to share my experience of coming out in a semi-traditional or conservative family. Truthfully, I still haven't told my dad- who definitely is against it- and much of my extended family and don't intend to for a while yet, so I can relate.

And btw, I feel you guys. I still haven't come out to my parents, because I'm not sure what they'll think. I know my dad is going to be good, but I'm not sure about my mom. I kind of tested the waters with the new transgender sports rules going in my state, and I couldn't tell which side she was on. I also live in the middle on conservative mid-west, yet my grade is somehow a safe space for LGBTQ+ community? idk. I know my friends will support me, but I'm not sure about my family.

I am so sorry, guys! Real life has been hectic lately. A friend of mine passed away a couple weeks ago and I started seeing someone exclusively a few days ago. Both were so unexpected. My mental health is like the Frog Hopper ride in Coney Island.

Lol It definitely is. 😊 So I just want to make sure I understood; would you like to resume moderating again? I probably need to talk to Beth to let her know to add you to the new mod group, because I think only she can add you. Do you also have a Facebook on which we can reach you? I sometimes have a hard time reaching Beth on here these days, so we often end up discussing group decisions over Facebook messenger.

Um, yeah, but I would think you would have two. I intend to start being on more starting today. Thank you, BookwormPanda. I think that we need to boost our group activity first before another mod appointment would be necessary. Thank you again for offering though.

I know, I'm just wondering if I can act like a mod because some groups don't allow it. I'm perfectly fine with being a regular member. I also just found out how to invite people who aren't you friend, so I'll try to do that with people on the other group I haven't been on in a month+. Whoops lol.

We really appreciate all the help you have offered to keep the group going, BookwormPanda. You have done an excellent job. The other mods and I just feel that giving someone a position like mini-mod wouldn't be fair to other members who also help out and would also like to be considered one.
