I personally would love to roleplay a traditional demigod claiming during the campfire singalong (I haven't actually roleplayed one before), but I seem to remember you mentioning it a while ago, so I guess you probably did that already? Maybe the easiest way to go is to have your character attacked by a monster or other campers near a body water, so that she uses her powers to defend herself.
