Most fun ever was the shenanigans with Aphrodite’s Scarf in the attic and infirmary.

Hm, I don't think I have read that one before. I will definitely have to now. I miss roleplaying my flirty daughter of Eros- who had a fear of abandonment- with Ivaaninja's Caleb. Margot was probably one of the most unique, complicated characters I have ever roleplayed. I also miss roleplaying my poor, abused daughter of Lyssa. I also miss roleplaying Terrence and Val with Sumehra. They were the sassiest pair ever.

For those of you who are into Greek mythology, which mythological figures do you find interesting or fascinating (besides the deities)?

Yes, they really. It's a shame that ancient misogynistic interpretations paint them as monsters when they were really victims.

I bring unfortunate news.
My demigod character, Rupert Hawke, age 18, son of Nike, has passed away on a mission. He was impaled with his own spear and pushed off a cliff.

I’m sorry. I’ve been gone for years, and I haven’t enforced anybof the old rules. You guys roleplayed and kept the group alive, and it would be unfair of me to come in and ask to roleplay, then enforce the old rules on all of your characters. The group isn’t what it used to be, but that’s not a horrible thing. It’s not my place to judge you for your creative interpretations of the books. I’ll back off now.

I’ll read it sometimes, since I’m stuck at home.

I really was so bored, I killed off my own character just for fun. This is borderline psychopathic behaviour.

It's totally okay! You're a wonderful mod and please don't feel sorry to organise the group and perform your role as a mod! It would be unfair anyway for you to neglect your real-life responsibilities for this group, we completely understand! :) <3

I bring unfortunate news again.
My gorgon character, Brendon Ashmore, age 18 has passed away recently while wondering around outside of camp. He was decapitated by a group of rogue and unidentified demigods who must've not been aware of his human heritage.

Btw, sorry to anyone who I'm roleplaying with because it has been busy these few days so I can't really focus to write any good role-play. I can only really rely to short comments.

Hm, Gideon, Hawke, and Brendon sound like cool names. Lol What made you decide to kill them off? I always become attached to my characters or sometimes, I just don't use some of them. I made a ton of characters a couple years ago- so much that, roleplaying many of them kind of feels the same. I am considering bringing a few of my less used ones and developing them more, because many of them are still interesting.

Lol Thanks! 😊

I don't think that is surprising. Lol I mean, you were willing to kill your characters and at least, one of them does seem like a romanticized death. That's okay though. I am morbid too. I like the idea of a Norse funeral.

I believe that in the books, the camp burned a burial shroud for a funeral. It should be in the Battle of the Labyrinth when Percy walks in on his funeral and the Last Olympian when the camp burned shrouds for many of the fallen campers. It would be cool to roleplay a funeral. Name a time and place and some of my characters will come!

ѕolanιne | 9090 comments Heyyy, it’s Shadow, well formerly Shadow. I go by Solanine now but you can call me Sola for short. I got a message from Jacqueline asking if I’d be down to rejoin for revive figured why the hell not! I’ll drag some of my old characters out to play after I revamp them.

Hey! Lol It's great to have you back. 😊 I never really thought about it before, but your name now is like the polar opposite of what it was then. Solanine, like the sun, and Shadow... Well, that just explains itself. Would you say that you are more of a child a Helios now? Lol

Well... technically the name is deceiving since; “Solanine is a glycoalkaloid poison found in species of the nightshade family...”

But it does sound pretty sunny! I just thought it sounded pretty cool and it kept the S theme.

Lol Cool. I didn't know you liked "s" usernames. I kind of miss when we had Alice in Wonderland themed names. Lol I sometimes like my current username, but sometimes it doesn't feel right. It's a reference to Rogue from the X-men- except like her better from this one cartoon and the comics. She can be quite sassy.

My name starts with an S, its Shai but I typically go by some kind of user online. It use the name for a lot of things, mostly for my art or for when I don’t feel comfortable using my actual name. You’re fine to call me Shai since I honestly feel plenty okay having that public on here now. I didn’t back when I first joined since I was a minor, but with me turning 18 soon why the hell not.

It’s actually really funny you say that since Shadow was a nickname a kid at summer camp gave me since he couldn’t remember my name. I being like 13 thought it was the coolest thing ever and used it as my username lol!

Yeah I saw! She is awesome, they’re totally going to get along like two pea’s in a pod.

lol I don't think I ever remember being thirteen and someone coming up with a nickname I liked. I think the first one I liked in school was when this girl in my freshman year of high school called me Jacques. Although she couldn't spell it correctly.

Thanks! Where should we have them meet up?

Not too bad. I don't have work and that comes with its pros and cons. Since I have more time, I have been reading more, watching movies and opera, and I have returned to roleplaying. I haven't been outside for maybe a week and a half now.

message 37148: by ~ Devine ~ (new)

~ Devine ~ Pretty much in the boat. I decided not to work to give my shifts up to people who needed it more.

But its given me more time do more art stuff and get back doing stuff on here too. I have books i need to read but i keep rewatching Netflix and anime shows instead. Lol

Yeah, that makes sense.

lol What type of art do you create? Truthfully, I have a bunch of books that I have been meaning to read and I kept buying more, so I probably have enough books to last me for the rest of the quarantine. What are you watching?

Shai is actually short for my full name but no one calls me that unless I'm in trouble lol.

Maybe on one of the central parts of camp? One could be headed to the forge and the other on their way from it.
