Hm... Okay. It might be interesting to see Channary try to win Sue-Ellen back. Is that what you want to do? We could always see how Channary would be with Elana if that doesn't work out.
sure! But... where was that exactly?Oh, so I was thinking it would be funny if Channary apologizes and stuff and so Sue Ellen says yes, right? And then, because it's a habit or whatever, Channary tries to vo further... only to be, like, snapped back into reality lol
I think we were roleplaying them in Hestia's cabin.
Yeah, it would be. I am not so sure funny it would turn out though, since Sue-Ellen was pretty heart-broken when Channary went off with someone else. Sue-Ellen probably won't be easily convinced to give her a second chance.

Okay. I think it was my turn when we stopped, so I can just pick up from where we stopped. I have to go after that though.
I’m briefly back because Jaqueline wants to breath life into this old groups. Would she make a good moderator and leader?

Breathing life back into this old group sounds nice!
I’m sure she would a good moderator!

Because of the need of a moderator, Jacqueline will be modded. I might hover around, help a bit, and retire. Heck, I’m self isolating; it’s boring. Jacqueline, run ideas by me. Anyone else have ideas? Send them her way.
I was thinking of tidying up the group. I know there has been a lot of spam on many of the threads over the years and some old quests and threads under the camp places- that aren't original places from the books- that are no longer used. I was thinking of starting the Character List again and making sure that aren't more children of the Big Three or the virgin goddesses than there should be. A lot of people have been creating children of Hestia and the Big Three lately. I am also pretty good at keeping those types of things up to date and organized.
Then, I was going to talk old members that still actively roleplay but outside of the group as well as have everyone add more new members. I was also thinking that although we don't have many active members now, it might be good to set up and send a mass message about a Capture the Flag game. I don't know if this is strictly a Wayne's World reference, but I think this could apply: "If you book them, they will come." I often find that many new members as well as old like the game and often ask about it. Maybe we could manage to have it once a month. On that note, I was thinking of having holidays events for Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day every year.
I know the group hasn't had original characters in a long time and I am not sure I would choose to roleplay one, but I often find that many new members- including myself when I first started in this group- like the idea of roleplaying one of the characters from the books. Perhaps we could bring that back. I know there were issues with the original characters before and I think maybe one way to handle it is that members request characters to roleplay and then we approve their character sheets if they are sufficient- and maybe keep an eye on them for a while to be certain they roleplay them in character.

I love all these ideas.
The best way to test a RPer is to have them write three paragraphs in character for the CC. One of thought, one of dialogue, one as an interaction with friends/other campers. It shows a diverse ability and understanding of the character.

Yeah, that sounds like a great idea. Using the other way I mentioned would mean having to undo a decision to approve a member roleplaying a character.
I’ve seen such an approval happen with minimal moderation, and someone who posts exclusively in 2-5 words now roleplays Percy Jackson. A roleplay test is more helpful.

Ooh, great ideas!
And I’ve always wanted the Characters List back.

Me too. Probably for some different reasons than you though. lol I used to find different ways to sort all of my characters in lists- by major and minor gods, by first name, by gender, by the order I created them, by which characters I was actively roleplaying and the ones I never really used. I think at one point I was categorizing them by what color their hair or eyes were. lol I have about fifty characters now too.

Well, I am back online. I can go post on the Big House porch now- and the Arena(?)- before I start my mod duties.

It’s super late here, in fact it’s super early tho. Hahaha

This is a completely random thought, but the books say that the Hunters of Artemis have to swear off boys. They say it all the time. No boys, no boys, no boys. They, however, don't say anything about girls, so couldn't they technically be lesbian and not have to swear off girls? 🤔
lol Your sister? I don't usually steal, but I do admit that I stole my brother's PJO books when we were in middle school.
My little sister is 11 and devours books like fire. She currently has most of my Rangers Apprenticr books and PJO books in her room.
So do you think that those two Hunters that left is a little bit like the nuns of different Catholic orders or more like when the military used to not allow homosexual conduct and breaking it would mean being kicked out?
Artemis still kind of supports them, but they left, yeah. They have a base that Artemis and her people can crash at. It was more of a personal choice and telling Artemis than a behind her back thing.
My sister is thirteen and I have been lending her stolen PJO books to read too. Lol It feels a little odd to think I am roleplaying with people my little sister's age, but... 🤷🏻♀️
Yeah, I know what you mean. I did an entire sweep of the group's folders a little earlier and I couldn't help but reminisce about all those different roleplays in the places and quests threads.
