@Viola, At first I thought your profile picture was a cell undergoing mitosis, but now I see it's an eye. :)

It is a typo Ipods are hard to write with kind gentleman.
We were learning about how to take the percentages of certain atoms in a compound and figure out how many atoms were in said compound, along with the Empirical Formula and Molecular Formula.
I'm actually in the middle of a test right now... I'm a 9th grader, but I do tenth grade work... If all goes according to plan, I'll be going to college next year. :D :P
That's cool! I started taking College level Spanish classes when I was 13. Our teacher was so vague. We'd ask him a question and he'd say, "Don't worry about it!" It became his catchphrase that everyone joked about. Students would even stand up and answer the question before the teacher could.
The Molecular formula is equal to (Empirical formula)n. N is equal to the molar mass or Molecular weight divided by the Empirical weight, which is like if you have H2O, H weighs 1, Oxygen weighs 16, so the Empirical weight is 18. The Molecular weight is determined by however many times that number is amplified. Say you had CH, 78 grams a mole. The Molecular weight is given, 78. So you take C and H, (C is 12 and H is 1) then add them to get the Empirical weight. You get 6. So it'd be: (CH)6, which is C6 H6.
