I prefer my men smart, funny, kind of nerdy but not overwhelming, not overly manly, taller but younger than me so that the balance of "power in the relationship" is in check. He has to have his plan for the zombie apocalypse underway, he MUST like Harry Potter, and he needs to get along well with my family, they're a tough bunch.
Well, at least I now feel better about myself. Yay!

It wasn't. You pretty much listed my characteristics, except for the zombie thing. I do have a plan, but it isn't underway. Want to hear it?
Step 1: Make sure all of the doors open outwards. Zombies aren't smart enough to twist and pull.
Brilliance, I applaud you. Good, old-fashioned locks are good enough for me.
Step 2: Have an escape tunnel.Step 3: Stockpile ammo.
Step 4: Get the generator, put it in the florida room, and connect it to the power.
Step 5: Ration food. We have enough for years.
Step 6: Damage control. Get on the roof occasionally and pick off several with our guns.
All absolutely lovely cautionary measures. Do you plan on staying home or changing states?
Depends. Home sounds good, but if the Zombies are extremely prominent in this state...
There are a lot of different theories on where the zombies are going. If they wander in circles, then stay away from big cities with high populations. If they wander long ways in one direction, well then they'll be fairly scattered.
