I want a silly doctor. Kinda like seven. I hated how serious eccleston was. He was just so angry and sad and lonely all the time. Serious like seven is good. Not like nine though

Eccleston was my favorite, next to David. He had all reason and right to be kind of grumpy, but all reason and right to change as well. You get to see him go from hopeless to the man David becomes.

Also, he's the smart one.

Yeah but the amazingness of the doctor is that he hates guns! I'm not saying I don't like eccleston. I LOVE ECCY!!!! He's so cute and sad but it got old at times. It was a nice change from the darkness when Matt and David were silly

I liked David because he was the perfect balance, but I love Matt and Eccleston for the way they portray what happens when it goes too far to one side. Still, the refusal to use guns is kind of stupid when you're trying to save lives.

He's super crafty with how he defeats the enemies in a way that doesn't use the barbaric violence of the humans. When it's necessary he'll use our weapons but he won't use them out of guilt for what he did during the time war

I understand, but someone has to show him, like Wilf did, that the weapons aren't barbaric in themselves, but in the way that they are used, they become barbaric.
