)Personality: Melinda is very artsy. She's really into photography and takes pictures of everything. She's basically nice to everyone and everyone who knows her likes her (except maybe a few ares kids). It's near impossible to get her mad. Melinda is happy basically all the time. She's really good at making friends and she trusts anyone who is nice to her, which can be a problem.
History: When Melinda was born, Aphrodite didn't leave like she was supposed to. Instead she stayed with Melinda's father and Melinda, visiting Olympus only for important meetings. Zeus thought that she was off with either Ares or Hephaestus, so when he found out that she had been living a mortal life with her daughter, he was furious and immediately hated Melinda because of it. He also forced Aphrodite to leave them and forbid her from ever seeing Melinda again. Melinda was 5 when her mom left. Her dad had told her that she had very good reasons for leaving and that she hadn't wanted to leave.
Even though Aphrodite had been forbidden to see Melinda, she still sent her presents every year for her birthday. Usually make up, hair accessories, clothes, the kinds of things you would expect from Aphrodite. Then for Melinda's 10 birthday, after noticing her daughter had gained an interest in photography, Aphrodite sent her a camera. Surprisingly, no monster had picked up her scent yet and it wasn't until 2 years later that she actually got attacked by a monster and brought to camp.

Long, thin, light brown hair (which is unusual for a daughter of Athena, but anyways), light skin, blue eyes.
Personality: She doesn't talk much unless you talk to her, but once she starts talking she never stops. So basically, if you get to know her she is very funny and great to be around. Her one obsession though would definitely be her books!
History: She lived with her dad and has aways felt out of place without a mother. Her dad told her that her mother left them to go travel the world, but she said that she would always love her daughter. When she turned 13 her dad told her the truth and sent her to Camp Half-Blood.
Family (Outside the gods): Just her dad, who works for a newspaper as a reporter. She has no siblings, atleast that she knows about.

Strongest Skill: She can learn very quickly and picks up skills very easily. She seems to have a pretty good aim when it comes to the bow and arrow.

History: Alex had a rough past. His mom tried to take care of him but was dealing with her own issues. She was raising Alex on her own, with no family to help her. She was driving home from work when he was 8 and got hit by a semi. She died in the crash, leaving Alex alone. Alex was forced into a group home for guys. His only friends were the voices that echoed in his head. Alex was bullied by the other guys in the home, both verbally and physically. It got so bad that Alex wanted to die, just so he could be back with his mom and away from all the people. Alex actually almost committed suicide when he was ten, he had hung a rope from a rafter in the ceiling of his room and was standing on a chair. He was about to kick the chair out from under him when his door opened. It was his father, Thanatos. Thanatos didn't say that he was a god but he calmed Alex down and made him get down. Thanatos told Alex about Camp Half-Blood and told him how to get there. He had to leave again to head back to his godly duties but he had kept Alex alive. Alex went to Camp Half-Blood and stayed there ever since.

{History:} Kayli's mother died a day after her daughter was born, which makes this a sad little orphan story. Kay grew up in an orphanage, surrounded by kids she didn't like. Sounds like fun, right?
As she got older, she started noticing things, things that the other children couldn't seem to see. People with one eye, flying things that she was pretty dang sure weren't airplanes or hot air balloons. Quickly, she discovered that whatever she saw, others couldn't. That, or they saw something else. This frustrated her, but she eventually dropped it and stopped bringing it up.
Along with that, other strange things started happening. Adults would notice that whenever Kay was exercising, she was lifting objects that should have been too heavy for her to do so. When they pointed this out, Kayli just frowned. The objects hadn't seemed heavy to her, but she got the hint that something wasn't quite normal.
When she was ten, a man walked into the orphanage and talked to the adults. He claimed that he was Kayli's father and he had the documents to prove it. That man happened to be Kratos. Later that week, he got her out of the orphanage and told her about the demigod world. He explained who he was to her and that she would never be safe, not until she got to a special camp. The god told her how to get there, claiming that he couldn't directly take her to the camp, because he'd be interfering too much, but he could help make sure she lived long enough to get to safety. He gifted her with a pair of knives and told her about the monsters, how they would kill her if they got the chance. If she ever got the chance to kill them, do it. Otherwise, run like hell. Kratos also told her that now that she knew what she was and what kind of world she was a part of, it would be easier for monsters to find her. Kayli then asked him why he told her, if that was true. Why put her in even more danger? Answer: Because as a daughter of the god of power, she was already a target. It was the same reason he'd gotten her out of the orphanage. While she hadn't known she was a demigod, she had known that she was different and she'd began developing some abilities that made that even more obvious, making her half-blood scent stronger. Monsters had been beginning to pick up on it and head her way. Since she'd been in a building full of mortals, Kratos had decided it best to pull her out, explain things, then send her on her way, instead of letting her endanger the others she lived with.
Kayli made it to Camp Half-Blood within the month and now stays there throughout the year.

She has long dark brown hair that falls to her mid waist. Valentina's eyes are a deep chocolate brown color and she has a nose piercing. {Personality} Vale seems to be all smile, happy, carefree, and completely confident. But, if you look a little deeper you'll find a broken girl. She needs somebody to help her and piece her back together but she hides all of her feelings. She's afraid of letting people see how broken she really is because she doesn't want anybody to use it against her.

{History} When Vale was 5, her older brother, Jacob, who was 7 at the time was kidnapped. Vale had no idea what was going on and she always cried and asked her mom when Jacob was coming home. 2 years later, Jacob was declared dead. Vale's mom had a hard time explaining this to 7 year old Vale. Vale and her younger twin sisters didn't understand either.
Casey and Carly were 4 when Jacob was declared dead. Vale's mom Rachael started heavily drinking and lost the baby that was inside of her. Her boyfriend left and didn't come back. After three years, when Vale was 10, her mother didn't care about Vale, Casey, and Carly. Casey and Carly were only 7.
After one year their mom committed suicide. Vale, was already depressed enough because of people at school bullying her. The DFS came to take Vale and her sisters away. Vale told her sisters that she loved them and she ran.
When Vale was 12, a satyr found her. She was hiding in an abandoned warehouse, and was not only hiding from DFS but from monsters. The satyr took her to Camp Half Blood and fully explained things to her. She took it easily and around him, acted as if everything in her life was perfectly fine.
She was claimed almost immediately and permanently put on an act. She never lets anybody in and has no close friends. She's afraid to get close to people.

Preferred Weapon: Everything and anything, although she doesn't waste any special metals on bullets; it's hard enough to come by already. But no spears. She can't stand spears and can't use one to save her life. Her favorite weapon: The dual knives she found in an Empousa's lair.
Appearance:
Personality: Socially awkward, just a bit, patient when she needs to be, but if you get on her bad side, you'll be there for a while. She has a great talent in the art of dry sarcasm, but there's a dark side. She's gone through like, three relationships that ended in absolute awfulness. So, she's kind of depressed, and has tried taking her life on one occasion.
History: Elise's hospital was burnt down the instant she was born. The doors had somehow been locked, and she was the only survivor. She knew what she was, unlike many of the others. She's talked with the monsters who've tried to kill her, and she's pieced everything together.
Prior to coming to camp, she had a brief fling with Apollo, because he liked how she could use fire and survived on her own. When she figured out he was a god who had been putting her in danger to save her and impress her, she dumped him, and he nearly killed her.
When she got to camp, she thought she was a Hephaestus Camper. Very soon, though, she was claimed by the titan Prometheus, who was chained up after the second Titan War to the age old punishment of liver devouring by an Eagle. This kind of puts her on the hate list of the gods.
She went on a quest and succeeded in freeing her father, but Zeus only allowed the freedom by confining Prometheus to New York. That applied to Elise as well, but the restraint has since been removed.
Her first relationship was with a son, Sebastian, of the Titan Tartarus. He was blind and they loved each other, but then Elise died. Of course, then he submitted to the evil of his father. Apollo brought her back from Elysium in a new body with wiped memories, and Elise -now Eliza- were quick enemies, because he was now evil and she couldn't remember him. Later, it was found that he turned vampristic, and when she bled, he couldn't help but try to kill her because magical blood fueled his magic. End painful relationship number two.
At this point, Apollo tried to get back in her life, but she still didn't appreciate his manipulation and got help from other campers to get a magical restraining order.
Relationship number three: Her best friend, Adric, dated her for a while, then left her on the grounds that she still cared for Sebastian. He helped her get back into her original body, but his rebuttal after she thought she'd found someone really sucked.
Number four: After becoming depressed and trying to kill herself on one occasion, a boy named Night came into her life and totally tried to cheer her up, really into her. Just as she thought they were together, he gave her up for another girl without a word.
She's pretty much given up on dating, and focuses on her garden and doesn't press finding anyone. After all, death and cruelty kept getting in the way, so maybe it's best to stay alone.
Currently, she's overcoming her sadness and planting English flowers all around her cabin. She's cleaned up the blood and gore from the themed eagle gut cabin and whitewashed it, giving it a pleasant minty green trim.
Her current best friend is Matthew, a son of Gaea, who is also her uncle.
Family (Outside the gods): She now has a great relationship with her father, and knows her mother's name was Marie Allweather, a sweet, kind lady who died in childbirth.
Crush/Bf/Gf: Doesn't really have one.
Strongest Skill: "Firebending", as she calls it. She's learned to control it at camp.
Weakest Skill: Socializing. She's terrible at making friends. Or relationships.
