Name: Aleydis Skylar Age: 17

Personality: Bittersweet. If one word could sum her up, that would be it. Aleydis doesn't want to make the same mistake as her mother by being too gentle, too innocent. She hides behind her knives, and she doesn't fail to land the striking blow. If you take all of that away, however, she is just a girl that's scared. She is gentle and noble, but she refuses to let people see that part of her. Just look where that landed her mother.
History: Persephone was stolen away into the underworld and forced to be Hades bride. Her misfortune did not exclude Aleydis who was forced to stay in the underworld with her all of her life. Finally, Hades decided that she was just a bother, so she was sent to camp where she vowed never to let anyone in. All did not go according to plan. When she arrived to camp, her sort of half-brother, if he can be called that, befriended her and is now the only person that she can rely on.

Strongest Skill: Fighting, coming up with good strategies, and using her powers are her main strengths.
Weakest Skill: She isn't the strongest girl around, she hides her good nature, and sometimes flowers accidentally seem to show up around her.
Other: Because she is the grandchild of Hecate as well as the daughter of Persephone, she has some of the powers of a Hecate kid. She is musically inclined, and tries to be slightly less terrible towards kids and animals.

Personality: Dante is a charmer. He's mostly fun and flirty, but he can easily switch to being serious. He would never hurt a girl, and he loves to pull tricks on people. His past is an enigma to everyone except Aleydis, and he intends for it to stay that way.
History: Dante grew up with his dad and stepmother, but oddly enough, he was much closer to his stepmother than father. Gracie, his stepmother, would be beaten and abused by his father, but Dante didn't know until he turned 10. That was when his father started hurting him too. He still has the scars on his body to prove it. His father used to be a kind, caring man, but after he met Hecate when his first wife died, he fell in love instantly. Hecate's magic made him mentally unstable, making him the monster he now is. Dante's stepmother found out that he was a demigod, and one day, she figured out a way to take him to camp. Dante is still guilty about it, and he doesn't know what happened to his stepmother.

Godly Parent: She hasn't been claimed yet. (Spoiler Alert: Aphrodite, but granddaughter of Hephaestus). But she believes it's either Hephaestus, given her natural inclination towards all things mechanical, or Hermes, because of her skill on the street and with pickpocketing.

Preferred Weapon: She can turn pretty much anything into a weapon, just out of need. Growing up, she didn’t have access to real weapons, besides knives. Also, hand to hand combat. She is very flexible.
Appearance: Face Claim: Asami Sato (from Legend of Korra). She has a slightly steampunk style.

Personality: She tries to be polite and pleasant, but usually ends up bitterly sarcastic and sassy and incredibly, so incredibly rude. She talks back in a flash. Her words are like blades when she wants them to be. She is very trustworthy, would never tell someone else's secrets, but she has trust issues. Rough and tumble, she is in no way afraid to get her hands dirty. She will stand up for what she believes in. She is very independent, and can’t stand to have to count on others, mostly because of the simple fact that she's just not used to it. She doesn't care what people say about her, because she is used to the worst a pretty girl could hear in NYC. She’s heard it all.
History: Elvira is an orphan who spent her childhood on the streets of New York City, and she has absolutely no idea who either of her parents are. She grew up moving from place to place, trying to stay unnoticed, but this was hard. She was too pretty for that. Guys went after her, and she hated that type of attention, and still does. She is a natural mechanic, and so found a job fixing up and test driving used cars for an awful boss, and rented herself a teeny, cheap apartment. She’s used to living rough. Constantly harassed, one day she snapped, and left a man lying half-dead in the middle of an alley after he pushed too far, his arm fractured, multiple ribs broken, bruises everywhere, and knife marks all over his face. She ran. The next day the cops found her, just at the same time a hydra and a satyr found her. It was pretty much a massive showdown. It ended with the cops going home, gaps in their memory, a dead hydra, and Elvira following the satyr to Camp.

Strongest Skill: She can make her way through a city in record time, using rooftops, tree, fences, anything, to get past ANY obstacle in her way. She mostly stays above the ground. Hand to hand fighting. Most things mechanical.
Weakest Skill: She may be trustworthy, but she doesn’t trust others easily, and others don’t trust her easily. Also, relinquishing control. She never wants to feel like someone owns her or has control over her ever again. As to weapons, she learns very quickly, so there is not really any weapon she is awful at.
Other:
~ She is a natural mechanic and drives expertly, and at a young age learned to pickpocket. Both of these factors make her think she is a daughter of either Hephaestus or Hermes.
~ She hates not being in control. She is quick to learn, and learns by observing others.
~ It’s easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
~ A favorite book: Fire by Kristin Cashore, because she relates to the main character.
~ She doesn’t care about her looks, and often used to downplay them, until it became a habit. She still does.
~ She is super comfortable with heights. When she feels lost, or mad, or something, she goes to the rooftops and treetops (anywhere high up).
~ She has a love for puzzles and brain games, even though she is not an Athena kid.
~ Also, she’s absurdly good at French, which is awkward, because she’s never studied it.

Appearance: I'm a failure with technology, so I give up on trying to make the link work :/ Basically, he looks like Asa Butterfield.
Personality: First of all, Myrick has what most would call "authority problems". He is instinctively rebellious and almost rarely follows rules, especially if they're given by someone superior. He's a clever and witty kid, the kind that always has a trick up his sleeve, so beware! However, as he often states, he doesn't have a problem with following people. He has a problem with following the STUPID people (but in his opinion, thats almost everyone). One of Myrick's biggest pet peeves with other people is when they don't show him respect or disregard his opinions or shoot down his suggestions for no reason,
basically just when people treat him like he doesn't matter. He also hates people who just blindly follow what everyone else is doing without a second thought. He's got a nice temper on him, and easily gets worked up about big problems like global warming.... and stuff. In addition to his "authority problems", he also has "trust issues" which are pretty much a result of his messed up life. Oh, and to end on a good note, Myrick is VERY loyal to those few people he can call friends and would easily die for them.

History: Artemis met Myrick's fathe in a forest while he was out hunting. The goddess, normally disgusted by males, was impressed by his gentle yet authoritative nature and his excellent tracking skills. They spent a glorious day together as king and queen of the forest, and soon, Artemis was in love. Zeus and the other gods soon heard of this and became enraged. They feared that Artemis would break her oath of virginity. To make this never happened, Myrick's father was struck down by at lightening bolt. At his funeral, Artemis wept tears of hatred against the gods, and against her own weak heart. She was furious that the gods would do such a thing and furious that a man could make her feel so many things. That day, two things happened: her heart became even more guarded, and Myrick was born from her spiteful tears. Disgusted and horrified by the baby boy she had created, Artemis found Myrick's aunt living on the streets. She gave the baby to her, saying that she would provide her with a house if the boy is raised without knowing his true identity. His aunt accepted. Myrick was eventually told that his father "left" before he was born, leaving his "mother" with little money and a child to raise. He grew up watching his aunt, whom he loved and cherished as a mother, do anything and everything for cash, even turning to prostitution as a
last resort. As a young child, Myrick didn't know why strange, creepy men would come into their shabby apartment at night, but he hated them all the same. When he was 11, a big group of scary guys came into their apartment, except these guys wore fancy badges and said that his mother "needed to pay the bills" or something like that. All young Myrick knew was that all of the sudden he and his "mother" were living on the
streets. He learned quickly that people were cruel, and that the fancier their suits, the crueler they were. He learned to hate the wealthy and the important and the powerful. He learned to be quick on
his feet and even quicker with his mouth. And naturally, he learned how to pickpocket like a expert. But when he was 13, his aunt disappeared. She left to go buy as much milk as she could get with a
quarter, and never came back. It was that same day that Myrick was attacked by a monster for the same time. He lived on his own for many years, avoiding the beasts that seemed to follow him everywhere. Eventually, he met a satyr and was lead to camp.

Strongest skill: He's excellent with a sword, good with knives and a bow. He refused to use bows, though, because he hates his mother. He can pickpocket so well that most would think he's a child of Hermes. He's a natural leader and he's pretty good with battle strategies. Also, he can play instruments pretty well.
Weakest skill: Anything involving art. Anything. He's also bad at following directions. And he's not the best at socializing.

Personality:
He doesn´t like being with other people because he just can´t figure out how to understand humans. So he often evades to his own dream world and drifts away in his thoughts. He can´t stay still, so he always has something in his hands that he can work with. He never puts his backpack away, where everything that he ever made is kept. He loves just running around, because that helps him controlling his energy. When he is forced to sit still for too long, he will burst out in flames. Totally uncontrollable. He is not very self-confident.
History:
He grew up in a wealthy family and always got everything he wanted. He had the perfect older brother, which is why he loves him very much. They used to go to big events together or even play in the mud (the mother was not very happy about that). His step-dad is his brother´s father. One day, he was running around in class. (By the way, his home and school are in New Jersey.) His teacher put him in the corner. Not able to move, after 10 minutes in the corner, it happened for the first time. He burst out in flames. He pulled off his clothes and his teacher stopped the fire with an extinguisher. Standing in class just in underwear - being 8 years old - was pretty embarassing for him. That´s why he asked his mother to let him recieve home school. Of course he got what he asked for. Maybe because his mom thought that public schools were too dangerous for her "little baby". Even though he was allowed to do anything he wanted since he had home school, it happened again. But this time, he controlled the fire and just turned it down. A few days later a satyr came and took him to Camp Half-Blood. He didn´t get a chance to say goodbye to his brother. His mother knew what had happened. And so he spent the next three years of his life at the Camp, training his skills.

Personality: Prim and old fashioned, Nirien is one of the most polite people anyone may ever meet.
Her manners are not lacking in the slightest, and she almost always wears skirts/and or dresses.
Being both calm, poised, courteous and respectful it almost seems as if Nirien would be better off living in a different time....where being like that actually meant something, mattered.
History: Nirien has a brother who is almost the exact opposite of her. Being the younger sister, she always looked up to him in a way, although Elliot is not persay, a "role model".

Both of her parents are strict, and being high-society, they expected their daughter to be the very picture of perfection in everything she does.
And all her life, Nirien has tried to live up to their expectations, being the best that she can be at everything.
But her best isn't good enough.
Her parents were always demanding more from her in practically everything.
Upon finally realizing that Elliot was never going to be the son they wanted him to be, they turned all their attention on making Nirien someone they could truly be proud of.
One night, Nirien overheard her parents fighting.
This was a rare occurrence indeed, for the two seemed to agree on everything.
After listening for a few minutes, Nirien found herself feeling more and more confused.
Her mother was saying something about the idiocy of believing in Greek gods, and her father was arguing that he knew them to exist.
Upon reaching the climax of their fight, Nirien's father shouted that he had met one of these gods, however minor and little known she was, and that he had actually had a daughter by this goddess.
Things changed pretty quickly after that.
A satyr came and took Nirien away, saying something about being notified that "the time had come" and such.

Other: The children of Soteria are natural bodyguards. They fight with large heavy shields, and have supernatural shielding powers. The more they love what they are shielding, the stronger the shield. They are often fierce bodyguards or parents.

Personality: Anemos is what you would call, in some cases, a jerk. He's often sarcastic, not very serious, has a temper, and doesn't seem to know when to stop getting on someone's nerves.
Another reason people may not like him is that he's a player. He often hits on many girls in a single month, where they either fall for him for a period of time or he realizes they weren't who he thought they were.
But underneath all of that cockiness and pride, he's really not too bad a guy. If you don't get on his bad side and manage to make a friend of him, you'll find that he's loyal to the core. He does what he think is right and thinks quick on his feet, though try to avoid asking him questions when he's stressed. It's a good way to flare his temper.
History: Anemos grew up with a fairly normal life. He went to school with the mortals until he was twelve, which was when the camp contacted his parents. His mom was uncertain about it, but agreed to let him go train and embrace his demigod heritage. He wrote letters to her and his father daily, never loosing contacts.
When he was sixteen, he'd gotten permission to leave camp for the weekend to be with his family. On the way to his house though, he passed a television store. They were playing the news. There'd been a car crash on the highway. Normally, Anemos would've felt bad for those people and moved on, but they were showing the cars. And one of them had been his mother's. He'd listened to the news long enough to know what hospital they victims were going to, then ran straight there. They wouldn't let him see his mom immediately, but he'd been able to stay with his father, who'd also gone straight to the hospital because of his wife. When the doctors came out, they had good news and bad news. The good news was that his mother had and would survive. The bad news..she was paralyzed from the waist and down.
Now it's two years later and every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Anemos is allowed to leave camp to stay with him for the weekend so he can help her any way he can. He thanks Chiron highly for this, especially since his dad has a job that makes him leave early in the morning and get home late.

History: When she was little, her parents got killed by a fire, so she went to this orphanage. She ran away when she was 11 because monsters started attacking her there. When she turned 12, a sayter found her and brought her to Camp Half-Blood.

History: survived alone until she was hunted down by a pack of hell hounds and mortally wounded (had to take sanctuary in Camp Halfblood).

Personality: Beck is very kind, rational, laid back, level headed, and seems to get along with everyone, even people who are considered quite weird. Although he does not always get involved in drama, he's quick to help someone out.
History: Beck was born of a flame in the West family home,he started as a tiny spark but slowly grew to human size which terrorized Ms.West and she ran out of the room screaming for her husband. Beck lay on the ground shivering from his sudden appearance in this world, as his form changed to that of a 1 year old. When the West came back they were astounded but were compelled to help the weird boy as he was a Son of Hestia and calmed those around him by sheer exposure. Beck grew up there happily until Kronos army swept through and they were killed, Artemis hunter swept through and helped him get close to camp. He has lived there ever since haunted by bad memories but usually calm and collected as well as being a people person.

Appearance: She's Chinese, so black hair and brown eyes. She's a child of Aphrodite, so she's quite pretty as well. Usually, Beth concerns herself with minimal make-up, but she forgoes this sometimes. Beth isn't very tall, and she isn't very fit. Despite her level of inactivity, she's thin, probably because of her mother, and she has no concerns about that. The same cannot be said for her health.
Personality: Beth can be loud and has a bit of a social problem in that she can forget how loud she is being. So, this leads to her blaring music in her bunk and people giving her shifty eyes. She's not very considerate, unless you tell her straight up, and she tends to pick fights with people. She acts like a daughter of Ares in everything but her fighting ability. Beth can't really fight, unless it's verbally, and she can and will talk you to death. Beth's a rather cynical being as well, choosing to pick at the darker aspects of life she knows.
History: Beth was born in Denver, Colorado, and grew up there. Her father married when she was a year old and two years after her half-sister was born; Katherine Li. They grew up, but Katherine was increasingly normal while Beth was a troublemaker in school, diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. So it was that Katherine did all the things that would make a parent proud and Beth got into fights at school and messed with the teachers. When she was twelve, she found out she was a half-blood and was sent off to Camp Half-Blood with the help of a satyr.
Family: Her mortal father is Michael Li, and he is a surgeon in Denver, Colorado. His wife, Helen, and their daughter Katherine live there as well. Beth has grown to resent them and thus remains at Camp Half-Blood year round.

Personality: Elena grew up in London during the reign of Queen Victoria, so she can seem reserved at times, and somewhat confused about newer technology. She's cheerful though, a lot more cheerful than she was before she became a Hunter, and she's very loyal to Artemis. She's always wanting to help people, even if it sometimes comes out the wrong way. Elena can seem old-fashioned at times, but she's adjusted rather well to the modern world, for the most part. She's thoughtful and likes being around people - not necessarily talking to them, but just being around them, and she does not like to harm anything that isn't a monster. Elena is quite calm, but she's one of the scary ones you have to watch out for--don't make her angry.
She's a little bit bossy as well, and haughty, especially when it comes to archery and literature. Elena loves to read and will almost always have a book near her. She has a library card to the five biggest libraries in the United States. She can seem kind of stuck-up to some people, but she's really not - she hasn't talked to many people who aren't in the Hunters.
History: Elena was born as James Ashdown in 1848, to a wealthy family in London. Now, Elena knew that she didn't feel like a James, from as far back as she can remember. She had a twin sister, and as a child, Elena would always wrestle herself out of her waistcoats and into her sister's petticoats (even though, she had to admit, they were uncomfortable). Her parents did not like this and Elena was miserable for years, hating her parents and her twin sister. That is, until she turned twelve, and had a run-in with the Hunters of Artemis while she had run off from her parents. After hearing that she could join, and that she would look like a girl after she joined, there was no hesitation. Elena felt no connection to her family, and she knew she wouldn't miss them, and already she liked Artemis better. So she joined, and she has been with the Hunters ever since.

History:
He was raised by foster parents because his mother gave him up for adoption when she went on tour for the second time when he was two years old. His adoptive parents had their own kid and being a child of Ares means that he can be a little rough, and he didn’t like that his adoptive sister wouldn’t ever play war games with him. He learned how to be quiet and pay attention to everything that was going on at at very young age. When he was twelve a pervert broke into their house and tried to take his sister, he was not happy about that at all and since they shared the room he was able to save her, he actually sent the guy to the hospital. His adoptive parents were thankful but still completely freaked out and they didn’t know what to do with him, thankfully people from camp found him. As soon as he walked into camp he was claimed and he has been living in camp ever since. He loves it at camp because he is able to be as brutal as he wants and train as much as he wants.

History: Her dad raised her well with few family or budget problems. He actually helped her figure out what was going on the day she was attacked by a monster, but they used the internet- you can guess what happened then. Luckily, some other demigods found her and came to her aid, and she and her dad were okay. Her father was actually kind of happy to learn everything about his daughter and what was going on, so no problems there.

Personality: Harmony is a sweet person when she talks which is hardly ever since she has a bad stutter. Instead she conveys feelings and helps cheer people up through dance or her lyre she always has around. Harmony's refusal to talk a lot has kept many away so she's used to being alone. Even the most patient person loses it and when she does her revenge is slow and painful usually.
History: Harmony was adopted by the Walkers at 3. She wasn't even in the line up since she was in a corner plucking cords on a plastic guitar. Their daughter of 7, Aela, heard and started trying to talk to her. They took her home and everything was fine till Harmony was 15. There was a robbery while Aela was away at a party and Harmony, without thinking, she saw the robber and shrieked causing glass to shatter and a piece of glass slicing through their leg. Horrified she ran to her parents only to find the bay windows had shattered slicing them as well. As she was questioned with Aela she started hearing a voice. That night she followed the voice to the camp. It took her a whole year before she wrote her sister.

History: Ara left her family when she was young. She caused the death of 4 kids and the insanity of 1. She didn't mean to. She wanted to change it back but she couldn't. Personality: Angelo is pretty much a stereotypical surfer dude. He's relaxed, easygoing, and annoying until he gets out on the waves. He's a huge flirt and never has held down a relationship. Honestly, what's the point? He's like the ocean - constantly changing and shifting about. Unless he has to be serious and tied down, he won't be.
History: It was three years ago when he came to camp. Three years ago when he left the life he had always known. But it was two years ago when his life was altered forever.
