I think I'll do 10 and check back in + another 10. I feel like I have to at least get halfway through this book today if I want to be able to keep up with all these buddy reads starting right after each other :)

I have read the first 5 chapters and I really like it a lot so far. I can't imagine being in Kylie's position. First of all her parents (view spoiler)[ seem like they can't be bothered with her. And they both make the BIGGEST mistake that most parents make: they don't really listen to her! (hide spoiler)]

When Kylie ends up getting (view spoiler)[ arrested and tells her mom she is innocent, (hide spoiler)] her mom doesn't even TRY to hear her side of the story. Okay, so many parents are also in denial. (view spoiler)[ So WHY would any parent put their child in a summer camp program for troubled teens without first trying alternatives? Those "camps" are usually for hard core trouble makers, right? (hide spoiler)]

But now that she is at Shadow Falls and she among all of the (view spoiler)[ weirdos, she must really be beside herself! The guy whose eyes keep changing...freaky! Miranda has been there twice but it did her "no good." (hide spoiler)]

They barely met AND she made a good point - she's kid of got a lot going on right now...BUT Derek has been intrigued since the bus...so I hope, for his sake, that there is more to this (maybe he can see the future or something) because right now he seems creepy and a tad intense! Alexa, I'm very behind too. My summer has been here since May 24, but I keep having "interruptions" that prevent me for just reading. It's hard to stay on top of buddy reads unless you have nothing else going on or you don't join as many!

I liked this book it was really good

I definitely like Lucas more than Derek after finishing this.
