So this might need it's own thread, I'm not sure, but I stumbled on this author, Skye Daphne, and it seems like her books are all just written into the descriptions. Like, the entire book even with "The End" written at the end is all in the description. I see nowhere that these have been actually published and none of them have ASINs or ISBNs. I'm not even sure this author should BE an author on here (which means her quotes should be deleted as well.) It's a very strange case.

One of those books was supposedly published by HarperCollins (a HUGE publisher) in 2012...yet has no ISBN, no other editions? I think this "author" needs to be deleted. Here is the author's other profile, her non-author profile:

Well since her author profile is still here today, I flagged one of her photos and suggested she be looked into as a sham author. Hopefully at least her "author" profile will disappear.

This is a serial novella that I started writing Falling for You

I've received great news from a publisher and they want me to turn the novella into a full novel but they won't sign me until the book is removed from all public platforms (including my blog, which I am doing right now). So, if it's not too much trouble, could you please remove it from Goodreads? It might have a different title and will be a completely different book by the time it is finished.

Hi Danielle,

what do you mean by removing? As far as I can see there is no ebook attached at your entry nor any link to the ebook listed.
As Goodreads only lists metadata of books, I see no reason why the entry itself should be removed. There are already users that reviewed this book and do want to show, that they have got a copy of it.
Even if we remove it, the chance is high that this entry will show up again soon when someone adds his missing edition again.

I've deleted the ebook that was available to download but the publisher wants the data removed, the cover, etc, before they'll talk signing. It's not even a finished book (about halfway) and no one can even buy it anywhere (it was free on my blog). It'll be completely moot as the publisher wants to change the title and some of the character's names.

"A Rouge Regency Romance" is the type/style of book

Rogue/Rouge is not misspelled, it is not referring to the series. I have edited the title none the less.

I don't know why you won't delete it. It isn't even technically a book and no one has purchased it! There has never been an ISBN or AISN or whatever. I can't sign with this publisher until you delete Falling for You
