Christi Corbett | 3 comments I'm very new to Goodreads and am still figuring out how to maneuver through the different groups, find friends (I think I have four now) and in general learn how Goodreads works.

I've read the Help menu a few times, but I'm wondering if anyone has a link to an article that explains Goodreads? I've learned enough to get my debut novel onto a page, and my author page somewhat started, but still can't figure out how to add genres, or how to best put my book on shelves?

I don't want to appear pushy or foolish to readers/other authors, so I'd love any advice you could share :)

Rinelle Grey (rinellegrey) I wrote a blog post on this recently, though it's more a general overview than a step by step guide.

Tasha Turner (tashaturner) I wrote something similar to help authors using Goodreads http://tasha-turner.com/harnessing-go...

Rinelle would it be ok if I added a link to your post to the bottom of mine? I'm collecting a number of good posts out there for authors on using Goodreads to help authors.
