Maureen Ogle (maureenogle) I'm completely confused: why does only one of my books show up when I search by my name (I'm an author). I've written four (one forthcoming) but only one book shows up. Goodreads can't find the others. Why is that?

I am Maureen Ogle. The book that shows up is AMBITIOUS BREW. But IN MEAT WE TRUST; KEY WEST: HISTORY OF AN ISLAND OF DREAMS; and ALL THE MODERN CONVENIENCES don't show up in a search. They're all in print.

Empress (the_empress) I see two of the four books. Post here or here, librarians cannot do anything about it.

Sorry I couldn't help.

Now I see all of them. I did refresh the stats but I have no idea if that is the reason.

Debbie's Spurts (D.A.) | 6325 comments All books are either manually added by requests to librarians, members, or authors except for a few data feeds (like Ingram Onix ones )that are used to import some books.

So, you can add yourself, request to be added in this group by supplying information specified at http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/8... — or wait for one of your readers/fans to manually add to their own shelves.

(To be included in the Ingram data feeds discuss with your publisher; if a self-published work, check bookseller site policies [for example, if published thru amazon createspace you need to have "expanded distribution" set or it does not hit the Ingram feeds. Not real familiar with other self-publishing distributor sites or even exactly which data feeds goodreads uses—but I do know books do not automatically add to goodreads unless on one of the feeds used.)

Debbie's Spurts (D.A.) | 6325 comments I do see all those books when I search by your name. Also see them on your author profile page.
