It'll be fun with Drople since they're both girls going to fight!
Eldric and Ronald won't be as fun.

I'm actually finding a rather awful pattern with myself; I can't seem to maintain female characters very long. You would think being female myself it would be easier, but I prefer writing male characters....

Oh, Star, you should put Tara into Hunter HQ. We need a lot more hunters there, anyways.

I also invite others to create hunters! We don't have many, so they'd easily be accepted into the plot.

Me too. If you think of the characters in the moment and each as a real person it gets easier. It did for me anyway.

@Tea ~ I feel the same way! I was actually thinking about that the other day. It's the same as when I'm reading a book: I cannot stand the female characters half the time (even the good ones like Katniss). I think I like writing guys more because they're more nonchalant and less dramatic. Well, most of them. I wouldn't exactly call Axel not dramatic. Also, that reminds me, is your profile picture Castiel?

@Sea ~ Erm, I think the lake is pretty empty as well as the forest? I'm not so sure on that last one though.

No, I'm entirely female. The male in my profile picture is a celebrity of whom I've devoted my heart to. Gotta love Misha Collins.

I grew up with an older brother, and I often find myself watching shows and films surrounding male characters, so I guess it's just easier for me to develop them in a way? But I'm reading Game of Thrones right now and they have some great female characters in that so hopefully that'll help me write them better.

Yeah, I mostly read books with male characters that are strong. I grew up with two sisters, so I thought that females were so drastically different that I'd get them wrong each time.

I highly suggest Game of Thrones then; they're long, horridly so, but really great. If you like Skyrim you'd like GoT. There's also a TV series; helps to watch it first then read the books, just so you get an understanding of it.
