That message that Tara sent out said that the war was going on last Friday to Sunday... Does that mean it's over? And what happens to this group after it is over? Can we continue roleplaying in this group as if it never happened (a sort of alter-existence for those who weren't quick enough/in deep enough to experience the war, who just want to keep going with the Academy idea) while the people involved in the group-wide plot move on to the sequel group? Personally, I don't feel like my characters are anywhere near established enough or in-roleplay developed enough to go into a feet of such epic proportions as this war yet-- it just isn't kosher in terms of traditional/natural story arch!

I wasn't trying to say that it was bad timing for the group (I wouldn't want you guys to postpone it, it seems like great timing in general); I just meant that it wasn't the best timing for my characters, and I'm absolutely happy with that, knowing that they can continue on doing their thing once it's over. I am absolutely happy with this situation-- happy as a lark. :D
As am I, because basically none of my characters are involved with the war in any way form or fashion lol

*shrugs* I'll do my best I suppose. I'm not one for a contest on who can kill someone better >.> after all, who can kill who best is more of a matter of opinion than actual skill.
I still feel like its a matter of opinion. Because I've read some death scenes that were supposedly very 'skillful' but I found rather bland, distastefull, and the killer was displayed as a very over-powered, i-know-everything-and-you-can't-kill-me-or-even-hurt-me kind of person, which makes killing scenes less fun and good to read in my opinion.
I'd say it depends more on the person rping them, because you can have that kind of personality or outlook or whatever you want to call it no matter what character you make.
Does anyone want to rp with Phoebe? Hey, that kind of rhymed! If you say the letters and not role play...yeah...Anyone?

How detailed are we talking? I also have a fire elemental...I have a witch too. I might not be as hardcore as you though.
Oh, I'm pretty ...detailed... I go up to nine paragrpahs with at least seven sentences each possibly? That's the highest ... but for groups, I do like three or two decent chunks!
Well, I usually do two decent chunks...I'll spare you. The other members are really detailed, but they aren't on as often. I'm sort of a newbie.
