That's why theyd have to film so many movies back-to-back, or a year apart

Luke I'm not going to be picky about this. I honestly don't even care anymore if it's an Anime, a Movie, or a TV series. I need my Wheel of Time! I agree that you could take out most of the 6-10th books, with all the filler; All the wasted paper about the Andoran Succesion, the Bowl of Winds thing, Rand's plotting against Sammael, and the lead up to The Cleansing. You could probably cut a little out of the Entire Aes Sedai scism, and the books where Faile was captured. Also so many characters.... You don't need the STABLEBOYS to introduce themselves and all of those flaming Aes Sedai... Like who needs all the Sitters from Salidar? I think their should be a little more understandable battles with the forsaken, like the chapter where Rand fought Rhavin was INSANE! How would you ever show that in a movie... In general Tel,aranhoid would be hard to do with all of the characters clothes changing constantly and the Battles between Perrin and Slayer. Game of Thrones problem I think is that it really loses the point... It's all just killing and "reproduction." I don't want WOT like that I think there needs to be more of a purpose to everything they do, of course with Rand in the twelfth book he had no purpose really but that's part of the plot... Anyways I spent like 15 minutes writing this and I need to go to bed... Anyway, make a movie!

WATCH OUT BIG SPOILER ALERT SO DONT READ UNLESS ON BOOK TWELVE OR FURTHER

Dutch they could do it, but they would murder all the plot lines when they condense and hack n slash out the all the suprisesand/or depth that makes the series so good.id rather they make it a tv series with movies in-between to keep audenice in into it.

Adam Golden It needs to be done as a series of animated features but more in the vein of the DC animated movies than anime. Animated is the only way to stay true to the story without the massive budget requirements and production nightmares that any live action attempt would make. Comparing WoT to GoT is flawed GoT doesn't have the One Power to contend with... nor does it have near as many creature effects to deal with. The largest hurdle with GoT was costuming and sets. WoT has that same problem on an even larger scale, plus the effects and the sheer scopeof the world as well. Animated bypasses all of the issues and if it's done the way Warner Brothers animation handles DC it can be done in exceptionally high quality for a relatively modest price.

Emma I do not want this series turned into a movie/TV show. Does EVERYTHING have to become a movie? Jeez.

Laura Ellis It was announced that WoT will be a television show.

These two links are from a month ago. and if the authors wife is involved, I'm hoping we'll get a good outcome. But I don't expect to see anything about it for a long while. Maybe when game of thrones comes close to ending, there will be more about it. People will want another game of thrones like show after it ends, won't they? By that I mean some big epic fantasy show; I don't mean wheel of time is like it.

But for myself, I don't want this series to become a show/movie. The books are fantastic and I don't want a show to ruin it.

Michael Miller In 2013 I commented how there was noooooooo way that WoT could be a movie (or a television show). Well, 10 years later I've proven myself wrong. I am very happy with the adaptation of WoT on Prime.
