Hi mate, you could always choose me?? I've written a zombie style story and an alien, man-eating insect novel based in the year 2050.....Easy to follow, read stories that play out like movies on paper....Please look at my website if you want - www.morgueofthedead.webs.comKindle is very cheap & paperbacks are at a 39% off reduced price.....
Thanks,
LEe
Hi Kacy, I'm reading Boy's Life by Robert R. McCammon at the moment and loving it.I've read some of Joe Hill's work and enjoyed both Horns and Heart-Shaped Box.
I have only read a short story by Joe Lansdale so I can't really comment on his work and James Herbert was a great writer with a ton of work to choose from.
Someone not on your list is Kealan Patrick Burke, you should definitely try Kin, it's an amazing read.
fourth! Try the novel Bleed by Ed Kurtz, also. (shameless plug) Check out Adam and Evans Light. Those guys write some great short stories.

You should really check out Tight Little Stitches on a Dead Man's BackIn my opinion, this story is a classic that is not too be missed. I've read a lot of Lansdale's work, but my thoughts always seem to return to this one due to the impact it had on me.
