"Jupiter..." He thought.
Oh! He nodded at Rylen showing that he got it.
Peering through his scope, he looked at the glowing planet. It was smaller than an average planet so he suspected it was an abnormally bright star.
He plotted its position on his chart.
Rylen grinned at Luke's understanding. She was glad to finally be able to answer something on her own. She turned back to her telescope, filled with a newfound excitement. Maybe Astronomy didn't have to be so bad.

Turning away he sketched the bright star's appearance compared to what he pictured Jupiter as looking like.
Rylen furrowed her eyebrows in concentration. She was able to locate a couple more stars but it was starting to get difficult. She leaned back and inattentively tapped her feet against the leg of the stool, deep in thought. It was actually making quite a loud and annoying sound in the hushed classroom.

"Rylen." He snapped-whispered. "Rylen!"
When she looked pointedly at him, he passed her the note he'd scrawled down.
It read:
Rylen please meet me after dinner in the courtyard. There's someone I think you should meet.
Rylen stopped tapping her feet. For a second she tried to read the hastily written message. When she was able to understand, she was completely confused.She shook her head as if to ask 'what?' and 'who?' . She was now a bit curious but baffled and cautious as well. Who would Luke possibly want her to meet?

She passed the note back and he turned it over and scrawled,
My sister, Paige. You remind me of her.
The corners of Rylen's mouth curled up in a smile. She didn't know too many people in the school so she was happy to meet Luke's sister. Especially if she was anything like him. They'd get along great. She tried-as silently as she could-to take the paper from Luke. She scribbled on the last bit of space left on the end of the page. She slid it towards Luke when she was finished.
'Okay, I'd love to!'

Meet me after dinner in the courtyards.
Their teacher stood announcing the end of class.
"Well..." Luke said grinning, see you after dinner."
"Looking forward to it!" she said, smiling. Now she had something better to do than sit in the common room trying to figure out Astronomy.

"Jupiter," she said in a quick whisper. She then stretched her hands out in a sign that showed she was talking about a big ball. If she couldn't read lips, she wondered how Luke would have any idea what she was trying to say.
