What have I done? 0.0Anyway; does anyone else have any ideas on how to get this group more active? Any events, polls, messages -- stuff to get people interested again and to revive our slumps. Think fun.

I approve! I think it's an excellent idea. As long as it's handled (by that I mean led) by a mod so it doesn't take an inappropriate tone, I think it would be great. Preferably, I would imagine most of the mods being present in the thread while it's happening to keep an eye on things from the inside to balance things in the rp. In case people decide to take things into their own hands, we can have mod characters to take things over so we don't have to completely stop role-play. ;)
As for fun things to get people active...
I can't claim to be very creative, but we could try a variety of tactics. We need to appeal to all sides of the group.
One: As always, there are visual artists, and writers. We could create an alternate challenge topic in which prompts are given by mods every now and then to inspire either ficlets or visual art that may help the group evolve? Basically asking group members their opinions on areas we have plot holes and asking them to fill it with their creativity using fanfiction/fanart/basic discussion.
Two: Play the fates. This worked really well last time I saw it used. The idea is we have people submit their names and their character's names into a fate-pairing list. After we get so many we pair them up together based on either random grab or analytical curiosity as role-play partners with designated threads. The partnership lasts as long as they want, but it's a good way to get people to break any ice.
Three: Awards. Any kind of award, really. Examples - most descriptive, most active, most curtious, etc.
Four: Prediction Topic. Open up a topic for people to discuss the course of the role-play, and maybe how it'll evolve.
We could also send out polls on different characters and positions and activity... Those are my thoughts off the top of my head, anyway. :)
How about we just move onto the sequel group? We've decided that this group will just ignore the massive damage to the school anyway, why not go ahead and start there?

Yeah. I need to sort one one little thing, and then I'd be perfectly fine with just a skipping to the sequel group. I've actually had a complaint by a member about how slow we're going. I think we should take this as a serious wake up call.

Okay. I have an idea. You will all hate it and disagree, but I need to at least propose it;As Tara has been extremely inactive and has yet to reply to any of our messages, I think we should create our own version of the sequel group and send an invitation to join. And as soon as she does, someone will dub her as mod and tell her what exactly hapened and why we did the things we did.
I feel that by the time Tara has free time to come back on the site, read all the messages, and finally mod us back in Redemption, everyone would have been peeved by the wait and this group would be as dead as a doornail. As rude as it will be, I think we can't afford to dilly dally anymore. The constant waiting has practically murdered all my love for the group. I'm sick of it by now. -_-
