It's a pretty good book, this one. I'm getting into this series.

I've only given the previous books 3 stars! That seems kind of crazy haha. I'm probably giving this one 4, only because of the anticipation I'm feeling about reading them XD I'm not sure I really like the plot and the characters, but it's getting complex and awesome now.

I'm watching the first episode of the show, and man Maya's acting is so weird! And in the show, Emily's brown, not white as I expected (sorry for the racism). And it's only been 1 year since Alison's gone, and all of the girls still talk. I'm not sure I like it :/

Finished. This book was definitely better than the first 2. A whole lot more character complications and stuff.
I like it a whole lot more, especially now that there's potentially some character development.
And quite a few plots twists and surprises!
(view spoiler)[Oh wow so Spencer killed Ali? And she hurt Melissa real bad, without even remembering it a few minutes later.

How did Aria manage to figure out all of their secrets in 1 go? That's crazy.

Maybe Ali did make a mistake when she sent Hanna that text from that number, if she coordinated with someone to run her over right before she was able to tell the girls. Especially when their note said 'she knew too much'. Wonder why Spencer was just standing in the trees though..

Intrigued for the next book! Especially to see who her new victim is. I liked that little entry into A's mind. Is it weird that I still think it's Ali somehow? They never did say the body was specifically Ali's.. (hide spoiler)]
I know most of that review was a spoiler, but I just had lots of thoughts :p

I want to get to Unbelievable soon, but I'm not sure when you're reading it XD I'm up to the third episode, and I'm worried I'm going to come across some spoilers. I don't want that.

I've requested Ali's Pretty Little Lies (#0.5) which is 290 pages, and it's about the week leading up to her death. And I've already requested Pretty Little Secrets (#4.5). If you want to read 0.5 as well, then I'll wait for you :) But if not, then I'll just read it when I get it. I've got no idea where you're up to, but I don't really want to wait too long for this series XD It's moorish haha.

I actually can't stop thinking about these books XD I want to read them all now :p

60% done I'm finding this book easy to follow and fast paced (view spoiler)[ I can see what you mean about you were shocked Emily was black in the show. Particularly because they have in the book the point of Emily's mum being discriminating again Maya because of "cultural differences" (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

Exactly! And the fact that I kind of picture her with light brown hair XD And to be quite short and stocky.

How quick do you think it'll take you to get to the fourth book? XD It's where Ariel and I are up to. Well last I heard she was reading the second book. I'm really wanting to read the fourth though so I don't forget what happened, because I can't lose my grip on this series, and I don't want to. I want to keep reading, but I'm waiting to hear back from Ariel.

I'm not sure, I'm trying to read it at the same time as the other chunked book. I am speeding through the first PLL book though. Are the second and third books the same length as the first?

Yeah give or take 20 pages haha.

Well it could probably take me a couple of days per book, so probably just over a week or so to get to the fourth one

That's totally fine XD There's no rush or anything, as I've got other books to read (and then Night Circus with you), so it'll be at least that long.

I just need to keep on top of my shows so that I still have time to read.

I've picked up the novellas. Pretty Little Secrets has a few little novellas in it, but it's initially a bindup so not sure if you can get them separately.

where do the novellas fit in? whats the bind up called? ill have to see if I can download or get from my library

one of them is #0.5 and the others 4.5

So have you read 1,2,3,4? Or just 1-3?

I've read 1-3. Haven't started 4 yet. But I think first I'd like to read the novella, which isn't really a novella as it's like 290 pages XD

Well it depends if Ariel can get the novellas. I have no idea what she's up to lately. Where are you up to?

Sorry I've done basically nothing all day. Haven't watched any of my 4 shows, or finished my book, which was the plan. I'm still only 30% into that... Gonna watch a show now though. I should watch a Westworld, but that takes at least a whole hour... Not watching Supernatural at nights.. 13RW takes an hour too. Might just have to watch a Nikita :p Yeah I'll do that.

is it 290 pages for the novella bind up of the 2 novellas? or is that just for one of them?
haha I am feeling the same!! I'm trying to catch up on shows and reading now. I am so behind!! and have so many buddy reads the next week!

I always have so many buddy reads :/ But tomorrow I'm dedicating to shows, and then I'll do some of my assignment before I get to reading anything XD

It's just 1. It's called a PLL Prequel Novel.

#4.5 is the bindup of a few, but I'm not even sure it is a bindup. They could just all have initially been published together.

We haven't read that yet. But I want to. Brooke said she'd see if she can get it. I want it to be my next read in this series though. Then I'll read #4, and then #4.5. Not in a row though XD

I'm not sure XD I've not read the Prequel. But you just read how you want :) I probably won't get to it for a few books yet, so you'll have time to read #2 if you want. Just depends when Haley wants to read it.

I'm going to read it before the 1st book and I'm just waiting for my library to set it aside for me which should only take a week max.
