I'm over halfway through the second book, I think if you read the books and watch this show simultaneously, you might get very confused. It just differs enough to confuse you, which is good because then you don't know exactly what is going to happen.

(view spoiler)[ finally!! I think the girls are going to become friends again, I have been waiting for this. Hannah has a lot more problems in the book then on the show, she was one of my favorites on the show for entirely different reasons that I like her now., One thing I don't like is the older guys being with the younger girls, especially Azurra, but I don't ever remember this whole dance , Going on, and I don't remember Spencer and ran so much. Finished Flawless, I'm hooked! I will definitely read this whole series :-) I just need to get to a few more books before I get to book 3.

Chapter 16: (view spoiler)[I feel so bad for Hannah that she thinks she has to purge to be skinny. The pressure her mom puts on her by criticizing her eating habits must not be helpful either. I know what it's like to feel a parent left because of you. While Hannah feels her dad left because she was fat and imperfect I wish her mom would assure her that's not why. (hide spoiler)]

Finished book 1 (view spoiler)[ I liked this, it seemed to take a little while for anything big to happen, and there was a lot of switching between characters, but I did really enjoy it. It seems like these girls have a lot of secrets! And so do their parents! (hide spoiler)]

Up to chapter 12 of Flawless (view spoiler)[ Um, Emily and TOBY?!? Surely not. Her and Maya are too cute! Plus, Ben's still pining after her. Even though he's absolutely awful. So what if she's a lesbian? Stop acting like she's the Devil! Okay, it was awful to cheat on him, and it's perfectly okay to hate her for that. But that's not the reason why he hates her, which is what makes me mad. Spencer should just admit she really likes Wren. Yes, her parents are being absolutely awful to her. I desperately want to punch them in the face. But wouldn't you want to spite them? I would. I feel like we haven't heard as much about Aria in this book as the last one. Yeah, she's still around, but not as actively. Hanna should trust Mona, and vice versa. If they're going to be friends, they need to be able to talk about their insecurities. That would make both of them so much better, in my opinion (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 28 of Flawless (view spoiler)[ I'm loving the Aria that's with Sean. She realises she's not a totally terrible person, sometimes. Obviously she has a lot of improving to do, but she's getting there. I don't want Hanna to find out about the two of them though!
She was an idiot for trying to pressure Sean into having sex, but she really does love him. Emily needs to sort her life the most. She has happiness so close she can almost touch it, but she won't take it. I hope that plot line doesn't last the whole series. It's getting old, fast. Although the Ben thing is interesting. He's so utterly awful, for no good reason (hide spoiler)]

Finished Flawless! (view spoiler)[ I can't believe Toby DIED. I wanted him and Emily to be best friends to get her out of her shell. Although, he was a creep. Touching Jenna like that was absolutely horrible. And she suffered because of it! He was the one who should've been blinded, not her. I'm still loving this series, of course. But I think four points of view is too many. I just can't get into Spencer's life. Sometimes it's Aria I get bored of, but mostly it's Spencer. I with one less point of view, it'd be easier to care about them all. (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)]
