Haha I just remember how everyone used to say that all people in Canada said 'eh' after every word and that everybody know French. Hehe my favorite sentence that some kid said in a Canadian accent was, "eh, I need some Canadian bacon, eh, let me get on my moose, eh and go get some maple syrup, eh, then I need to get a maple leaf, eh."

I think Canadians make much more fun of us than we do of you.

message 554: by Alice (new)

Alice (alice20) Really? I had the opposite impression, but I've never been inside a Canadian classroom so I'd never know.

message 555: by Constance (new)

Constance (emma_kitty) | 67 comments HAHA!! That's hilarious! We do say he, but it more "hey" .... As in that's really cool, hey? But only after questions... And we actually do have lots of moose.. They come in my back yard sometimes, XD.

message 556: by Alice (new)

Alice (alice20) That's really cool! I've never met a moose in my life

message 557: by Hannah (new)

Hannah Rauenzahn (morelle14) | 11526 comments Mod
I haven't ever seen a moose unless at the zoo then I see one but deer to come in my bathroom.

message 558: by Constance (new)

Constance (emma_kitty) | 67 comments Haha they're really big ... And deadly .. XD and we have to learn French in my school till grade 7... But then everyone but the odd people Ditch the class once they get to grade 8

message 560: by Constance (new)

Constance (emma_kitty) | 67 comments Really? About what ?

message 561: by Constance (new)

Constance (emma_kitty) | 67 comments Wait... U said before some kid with a Canadian accent... Wats that.. I mean I know u guys may have like Texas accents in some areas, but other than that r our accents different from yours??

message 562: by Hannah (new)

Hannah Rauenzahn (morelle14) | 11526 comments Mod
No Canadians apparently have a different accent I think I don't really know, but do you live in a cabin?

message 563: by Constance (new)

Constance (emma_kitty) | 67 comments BWHAHA!!! No!! Canada is JUST like America for living conditions wise ;) were no savages or anything, our cities r all the same XD

message 564: by Hannah (new)

Hannah Rauenzahn (morelle14) | 11526 comments Mod
Okay because that's another stereotype.

message 565: by Constance (new)

Constance (emma_kitty) | 67 comments Haha I know... It's sad that some ppl actually think that XD

message 566: by Constance (new)

Constance (emma_kitty) | 67 comments I mean we're really right beside u guys it's not like there's some huge culture change ;)

message 568: by Constance (new)

Constance (emma_kitty) | 67 comments @Ali Im planning on starting that "shatter me" book u recommended next, but I highly recommend this book I'm reading at the moment... It's a YA sci-fy romance called pivot point, about a girl with a " super power " I guess ;) really fun read though

message 569: by Alice (new)

Alice (alice20) Pivot Point sounds amazing!!! I was actually looking for something like that, in my ya sci-fi romance frenzy. I'm putting that on hold in my library. It sounds a lot like Shatter Me, actually, with the super powers and everything.

message 570: by Constance (new)

Constance (emma_kitty) | 67 comments Oh cool!! I'm definitely reading shatter me next! :)

message 571: by Constance (new)

Constance (emma_kitty) | 67 comments Hey! Ali, sorry but it totally forgot, what book u reading at the moment???

message 572: by Alice (new)

Alice (alice20) I'm actually starting a new one called A Northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly. I like it so far

message 573: by Constance (new)

Constance (emma_kitty) | 67 comments Oh cool! What kind of book is it?

message 574: by Alice (new)

Alice (alice20) It's a historical realistic mystery with a little bit of romance... A bit lacking on the romance though. It has a lot of hype (it won the Printz Award). I took it with me to camping this weekend and I loved reading it on the beach. And what about you? What book are you reading right now?

message 575: by Constance (new)

Constance (emma_kitty) | 67 comments I just ended pivot point which I loved! I felt like it had a lot more thrill and action and just plain out excitement compared to other YA books, but now I think I'm gonna read shatter me

I start school tomorrow. The worst part is that I haven't done my summer reading and I am doing it right now. As soon as I am done I am gonna go cry. However I am slightly happy that I get a 2-1/2 hour delay for the freshies

message 577: by Constance (new)

Constance (emma_kitty) | 67 comments Summer reading!?!? What's that??

message 578: by Constance (new)

Alice (alice20) YEAH! I don't understand korean so I had to have subtitles, but I still loved the romantic dramas, Boys Over Flowers and City Hunter.
