I've read Just One Day and it was one of the best books I've ever read, but considering that you liked this book [Where She Went] and I absolutely detested it, my word might not be one you'd like to take. For the most part, I think most people had positive opinions of it, though.

Haha, you're welcome :)

[btw: just a warning, but that book ends with a MASSIVE cliffhanger, sort of like If I Stay ;-;]

Carol Pearce No, not at all. In my opinion, "If I Stay"can be a stand alone book, as "Where She Went" would not be a very good stand alone book. Each book feels like only half of the full story. Both books together, Complete the story to a satisfying level.

Sophie I really struggle to understand how anyone can call Mia a spoiled brat or a coward. She made the choice to live, to wake up in a world where her entire family was gone. She also made the difficult choice to walk away from Adam so that they could each pursue their own dreams. She cut contact not out of fear but because she loved him so much she knew if she maintained contact he would be able to convince her to stay with him. Or he would follow through on his promise made out of desperation for her to live and quit his band following her to NYC. He would have resented her for that choice eventually.

If she is cold it is because she is guarded, and contained. it was how she survived losing her whole world and it became a habit.

Nadia I absolutely loved If I Stay and felt meh about Where She Went. I don't think Where She Went was neccesary to add to the story but I loved the part where Adam talked about how he and Mia went camping which helped open him up more to the reader but that was pretty much my only highlight of the book that I can think of (aside from getting to see the characters I love for another book).

That accurately describes my feelings about Where She Went, too :)

Michaela I don't know. At first, I was confused. I didn't realize I was seeing everything through Adam's eyes, I was wondering where was Mia. Why weren't they still together? What is Adam's deal, why is he all in depress mode. But then slowly, I started to understand and get the feel of the book. I think I kept reading because I was curious to know what will happen and will Mia and Adam get back together. I cant even remember what ratings I gave the book, I think it was quite reasonable anyhow.

Yeah, nope. I liked this book, and your kinda being rude to it.

Taylor Madden I loved this book! It was much better than If I Stay.

First of all Adam was not a drug addict and Mia didn't seem snotty to me. I know it's your opinion, but have you ever heard of the phrase " if you have nothing nice to say don't say it at all"

That is so true, I agree everything you said.

OMG ME TOO!!!!! I was hoping for a happy ending. Im a sucker for romance.

Anne Salonga This book is boring.

Kaytie It would have been better off never written. The only reason I finished it was because I hate to leave any book unfinished. I kept putting it down and walking away from it. I didn't like the people either one of them turned into. I did like If I Stay, though.

benita I was so excited when I first bought the book and was going to read it. The book wasn't the same as the first one and that's ok!!! but I thought the story was a bit boring. Adam was just a pain in the ass to read about... But I think it was great that she decided to write a sequel so we got to know what happened to them after Mia was in an accident. Their life changed and they didn't stick together. Because the first one ended with only for us to think for ourselves of what had happened and I would also be ok with that. But I didn't hate this book either.

Gillian Eve I read If i Stay and Where She Went and i really enjoyed them. Some of the parts in the book were odd. For example, when Adam said he wanted to lick the tears off Mia's face, I just thought that was a weird thing to write. Over all, i'm a really big fan of the second book. I liked learning from Adam's perspective. He's so much different in the second book because you get an idea of what his true emotions for Mia are. I really like the way it ended too. Honestly, if you haven't read these 2 books you should. It's a heartbreaking story but the characters are written beautifully. I might end up reading them again some day.

Za I actually enjoyed this book, more than the first. It brought some closure the characters I became attached to in the first book. This book was a perfect example of one of reason I love reading. The character development! The complexity of the individuals is what makes the book come alive.

Jesse Wilce In my opinion, I did like Where she went much better then If I stay.

Yeah, I agree. I found it difficult to finish, but since I never stop reading a book halfway through, I forced myself to read it all.

Me too. I really didn't like this book, but I didn't entirely hate it, either. I liked If I Stay's open ending because it gave me the freedom to imagine how Mia and Adam would end up after she made the decision to stay. Reading Where She Went basically cancelled out all of my own imaginations, none of which were anything close to Where She Went. I know some people like closure, so Where She Went was amazing to them, but for me, Where She Went kind of ruined If I Stay's ending.

Sarah Anne Yeah, this book kinda was a disappointment. I enjoyed reading If I Stay probably because of the open ending, how you got to interpret what would happen to the characters. I realllllllllyyyyyy didn't like this book primarily because of that.

Rebecca This book was by far better than If I Stay...
