message 4124: by WyoLady 93 (new)

WyoLady 93 (wyolady93) Just finished listening to The Shadow Land by Elizabeth Kostova by Elizabeth Kostova. As with her other 2 books The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova and The Swan Thieves by Elizabeth Kostova , I loved them. All 3 of her books I have listened to rather than read, and I found they were all so well done. In reading others reviews of her books, I found some did not care for 1 or the other, but I found listening to the books a most wonderful experience. The narrations were excellent.

message 4125: by Tammy (new)

Tammy I got a sneak preview for a new book in the self-help genre from Christy Whitman called Quantum Success. She takes you through a step-by-step process of how to use the 7 Essential Laws, including the Law of Attraction, to make changes in your career, whether it's wanting a new job or growing a business you own. The great thing is you can use it to get anything you want. I really enjoy her real-life examples and stories and the meditations for each chapter are awesome for helping you visualize and connect to what you want.Quantum Success: 7 Essential Laws for a Thriving, Joyful, and Prosperous Relationship with Work and Money
