So I finished NOS4A2 and I really liked it. Like I mentioned before it was my first horror book and I got hooked - will definitely read more from him.
When I was like 70% through I looked up his other books and his life story - I had no idea he is Stephen Kings son :) Funny fact: I haven't read any of his books.

Now I'm about to start Orphan Train

Finished Orphan Train and loved it! I gave 4 stars: the book runs in 2 storylines and I really loved the one that ran through 1920-1940s, I did like 2011 one too, but nearly as much as the other one. Now I'm also a bit smarter about American history and feel need to google more about Orphan trains.
I recommend this to everyone!

I liked Orphan Train a lot too. I just finished a similar book with the 2 storylines called What She Left Behind that you might find interesting as well.

Thanks :) I have always thought of myself as a slow reader, because I read every detail and if I start daydreaming or don't understand something I'll read the part again :D
But right now I had 7 books coming in from the library around the same time and I'm a housewife without kids, so I just dropped everything else and do all my reading :)

I just finished Lost Lake and gave it 3 stars. It took me only 7hr to read it, so it was fast and easy read. I liked it, but didn't find anything special about it. I loved the setting thou - could imagine exactly how the lake and cabins looked like :) I would love to go for a vacation to Lost Lake.
Now I'll start my last and the thickest book from my library pile: The Goldfinch. I have heard good and bad things about this, but in here everyone seems to like it, so I hope I'll become one of you :)
