I just finished listening to The Twelve Tribes of Hattie. Didn't hate it but wasn't excited about it either. Will start to read Behold the Dreamers next.

Andrea, I just finished A Man Called Ove. I love that book!! What a wonderful read. I love the writer's style and how he took Ove's thoughts, which were serious to Ove, and turned them into humor. The book will keep you wanting more and your heart has to go out to this man called Ove. Now I have to read Beartown.
Hi, my name is Ruby and I just joined this group! Right now I am reading Black Butterfly by Robert M Drake. It is all poetry and it is pretty good. I am pretty young and this book makes some adult references. I am almost done and I found some poems that I really loved. I don't know if its your style but I like it. And if you like historical romance, then you should read Alex & Eliza by Melissa de la Cruz.

It's a little darker than his other books, but I really enjoyed it.

My sister lived it & is still talking about it. Passing her copy around the Family. I'm somewhere down the list!!
I recently finished reading The Stranger. For those who may be interested, my review can be found here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I just finished Three Heavens by John Hagee. A very interesting book. Good for Christians to get back into their faith and he reference a lot of bible verses.Kelly
I am now reading WAKING UP SLOWLY by Dave Burchett. Another good read. I believe I just started Chapter 6. Sunday was when I finished my borrowed book called Three Heavens by John Hagee. I was trying to hurry into reading the Three Heavens to return to its owner she told me to pass it a long to others who would like to read it. So that is what I am doing, she is my sister in Christ. I believe its divine timing for a lot of things going to happen.I never force my religion on anyone, I just pray for them to find peace love and understanding in their lives.
Waiting for Snow in Havana: Confessions of a Cuban BoyMy mother sent this to me before I went to Cuba and although the imagery and storytelling is wonderful, I am struggling to finish the last 100 pages! I'm ready to move on to Angie Thomas' The Hate You Give

Hi, I'm Dan Caines from Southern Cal. and I just finished my 1st novel now available on the Kindle Book Store titled "Cartel Holy War" It is a fairly fast read - crime, police and detective story with some interesting views and commentary on current events in our society and a back ground story that I believe will captivate your interest. Please give it a try, I need reviews.I would love to send you a free copy as an attachment to an email. I'm at daniellcaines@gmail.com. or of course sample it for free on Kindle.
