So into ancestory now. I have a few books to read before the New year starts to finish my reading goals, I set for the reading challenge. I better get cracking at it LOL. This time is very busy for me though but I have to push through! I still have wrapping to do and some housechores before going to family for christmas dinner or lunch I guess it would be lol.
I love hearing about what everybody reading and can't wait for the reviews and I plan to get the ecopy of Love from Mars. I hint that to my oldest kid so he could read it too, since he is dabbing into maybe being an author himself. He said it looked interesting to him. He's a fanfiction writer on Fanfiction.com. I don't know what his handle is when I know I will let you guys know especially some authors he wants opinions.

Finished
by Alexander Chee-- 4 Stars.A saga telling the story of one Lillian Berne- a famous soprano with the Paris Opera. Dense, Startling, and gorgeous- lightly based on an actual soprano gave this a non-fiction feel.

Just started reading "The underground girl's of Kabul" by Jenny Nordberg. It tells the story of Afghan girls dressed up as boys and enjoys all the freedom that comes with being a boy in Afghanistan. Though once the girls reach puberty they will go back to being girls as they are to marry. So far I am loving the book it's very well written and gives an insight on an, to me, unknown side of Afghanistan.
Finished
by J.M. Barrie-- 3 StarsThe original story that inspired multiple takes on this beloved character and his story.
