Finished "Goliath Gets Up" by Starbucks O'Dwyer - fun indie book, and "The Poetic Wit and Wisdom of Maya Angelou." Both won at LibraryThing. Also, a beta read for Ken Doyle (a fine Goodreads writer.) Almost done with "The Girl With a Clock for a Heart."

Halfway through The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. Next on list is As I lay Dying by William Faulkner. I realized after wanting to read them, they were both Oprah Bookclub picks. I am loving TGOW.

This is definitely one of my all time favorites. And I also read it many years ago. I keep hoping to find another like it by colleen McCullough, but I don't find that her other books measure up.

in audio format and listening to it now. I know if was an Oprah book club selection long time ago, but I couldn't find the audio version and the one the library had was all scratchy CDs.

Just finished Wicked, based on the Wicked Witch of the West, and was pleasantly surprised but not overly impressed, and I just started reading Chasing Alaska, by John Green, author of The Fault in our Stars. So far I'm enjoying it! I also just finished Gillian Flynn's three books, which were fantastic! Highly recommend those!

Finished All The Light We Cannot See. One of the very best books I've read in ages! Beautifully told with characters so real you'll know them, love them, hate them. An amazing WWIi story told from entirely different perspectives. Highly recommended!
