Disturbance In The Faith: A Poetic Love Story https://a.co/d/bHIXzII
A POETIC JEWEL THAT OFFERS INSIGHT OF LOVE, DETERMINATION, AND FAITH. BELIEVERS WILLING TO GO THE DISTANCE IN SPITE OF ADVERSITY, TRIALS, AND TRIBULATIONS. THOUGH THEIR EMOTIONS WERE CHALLENGED, THEY HELD STRONG TO THEIR CORE BELIEF IN GOD. THERE IS POWER IN PRAYER, Perseverance, and PERSISTENCE. ENJOY.....
The full five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for
A Beautiful Family by Jennifer Trevelyan. an exquisite and nostalgic blend of mystery, suspense and family dynamics. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Glory’s Key. If you love romance that’s layered with trauma, healing, and second chances, this one might hit you right in the heart. It’s set in the Florida Keys and follows a young woman escaping an abusive relationship who ends up at a dive resort run by a grieving, broody instructor.
It’s got that slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers tension, a strong found-family vibe, and even a touch of something… otherworldly.
Beware though, the cliffhanger is killer, so do not read this if cliffhangers aren't your jam.

Hi everyone! Got poor sales for just one book (The Veilcrest Mystery) tho I believe the other books published deserve same attention as their stories are captivating too. Anyone care to take a look? Here's my author's page: amazon.com/author/laurentiu-marius-gr...

Flora, that sounds worthy of a Twilight Zone episode or movie!
⭐⭐⭐⭐.4 for this sweeping story of family, love, resilience and survival set during the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong in WWII.

Hi, Angela. Regarding "fictional historical romance," my novel is a classic literary fiction novel, involving romance as part of the storyline with history in the background, circa 1890 to 1970, including five generations of family lineage. It is not a historical fiction because history does not control the story. It is not a fictional romance because romance does not dominate the story. I believe you would enjoy reading it because it is highly rated by readers and it includes adventure, mystery, intrigue, and much more, in addition to romance and history. https://fultonbooks.com/books/?book=t...

Rachel, I am curious. Did you expect to love the book because of the author, theme, the writing or for another reason?
when the world didn't end by guinevere Turner memoir of Lyman cult from 1970s in US. author's experience as a kid in the cult.
Hello Angela! I believe your next must read is How to Stop Time by Matt Haig. It is a very thought-provoking book that will have you in tears but also give you hope. Enjoy!
Just finished How to Stop Time by Matt Haig and loved it.I wonder: The curse of immortality…Love or Loneliness?"
It is a very powerful book, and it left me with so much to ponder about life's moments and the meaning of connection.
For anyone who's read it—what did you think? What should I read next that has a similar thoughtful, slightly bittersweet, or time-bending vibe? I love sci-fi that's thought-provoking and philosophical.

Olga, I agree. Originally, sfi-fi's purpose was to wrap its moral message in a story that the powers that be couldn't detect as a criticism of them. The original Godzilla was about the unforeseeable consequences of dropping atomic bombs.
Hi Andrew! You are absolutely right. Science fiction was a means for writers to critique the problems with society and government policies, in a disguised way, of course. Through sci-fi they could explore controversial or critical ideas without being directly censored or condemned by the authorities and the people in general. This was a means to sneak in social commentary… very clever. And you're right, as scarry as it sounds Godzilla was created as a metaphor to paint the devastating consequences of
radiation and scientific experimentation ...scary and definitely thought provoking..... In the future we will probably see these creatures everywhere.... mark my word :)

hi Angela, maybe try The End of Mr. Y by Scarlett Thomas. it was pretty good. A non fiction novel that circles around what consciousness is made of. I think some people might think of it as slightly fictional :)
⭐⭐⭐⭐.4 for rural romance and family drama
Cockatoo Cove by Maya Linnell https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...I am re-reading my book. it has been years since I have read it. It was emotionally painful and caused physical reactions as well (headaches & migraines) to write. However, it was extremely therapeutic and helped me tremendously.
In the first edition, the editor was not on top of things. It was my first book, and I trusted the editor would make it the way it was supposed to be. The editing is embarrassingly horrible, and even though it does not change the story at all, it needed to be fixed. The second print is scheduled for release in a few months, but original copies are available now. I pray and choose faith as I read this again. It is different when it is your own story. I read memoirs all the time, and yes, I feel emotions throughout the story, but never physical. tiffanydeshea, com

Have you read all the Bridgeton books by Julia Quinn or Outlander? Definitely historic romance. Also, The Women is historic fiction with some romance as well as The Tattooist of Auschwitz and it’s 2nd book Cilka’s Journey.
⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 for the action-packed
Second Chance Station by Renae Black. P.S. The action is not all romantic! There's plenty of other stuff going on. 💖📚
