Here's my 5* review
Zoe wrote: "I'm reading 'The Alchemist' by Paul Coelho. It's about a young boy's journey through life. It's a very good read." I found this book fascinating! Such a unique story. I don't think it will be for everyone, but I was drawn to its charm. Some of the wisdom in it I find profound, but some of it I find worrisome, like "You must understand that love never keeps a man from pursuing his destiny." I'm not sure about that gem. Worth the read, though.
Silverton Shores⭐⭐⭐.3 for

Your review makes it sound interesting and the dark side of social media is definitely current.
East of EdenWhen reading this classic which was wrttten in 1952, the style of writing is so completely different than current styles. There are different characters that we read about but there are no chapters from their point of view. We have the omniscient narrator and the style is completely straightforward. I am enjoying it.
⭐⭐⭐.5 for #3 in the Scottish Isle Mysteries series

I'm currently reading Framed by John Grisham and Jim McCloskey. All I can say so far is I hope I don't get called for jury duty any time soon or I'm likely going to question any evidence presented after reading this!
I am currently reading Blonde by Joyce Carol Oates which is a semi fictional retelling of Marilyn Monroe. I'm also reading Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell
Here One Moment by Liane Moriarty. 66 pages in and I cannot put it down. WOW!! No wonder it’s been so highly recommended to me
