Hi Kriti here.I just finished reading Twelve Years A Slave by Solomon Northup.
Here is my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
In strong need of a breather before starting the next adventure.
I am finishing The Dog Stars about life after a flu pandemic wipes out most of the human population.
May wrote: "Bam, when was this written?? Sounds like it might be timely..."Yes, it is timely, May. It was written in 2012. It takes place about nine years after a worldwide pandemic kills off most humans and many species of animals and plants. I'd say its theme is what makes life worth living. Is mere survival good enough or do we need human interactions, love, joy?
Currently reading Love Science.Just letting you guys know that my e-book, "I Always Loved You - Creatures of eternal love," will be available for free from Tuesday March 31 to Saturday April 4 on Amazon.
I am seeking some Amazon reviews as well. So please don’t forget to leave one after you read it.

Hi Kritti!
Are you reading different books in the face of COVID? I'm so curious about how peoples choices are being impacted. I just finished Pachinko that was great! Not very light!
Hi all, just finished Scented by Laurence Fearnley, i recommend reading my review. I would love to know what your thoughts are on the questions that popped up. Now onto Boy Swallows Universe by Trent Dalton. Boy Swallows Universe
As for the question on if people's choices have changed while this virus does its world tour i think mine has. I would rather read something light and amusing or inspirational. I don't think we need anymore doom and gloom in this world. There are teddy bears in every home window in our country to give kids something to smile at and look for. I think we are all looking for that little glimmer of comfort and lightness. Stay safe everyone. If that means finding comfort between pages and sheets then so be it!

Hi Jane--sorry I just saw your post. It's The Dog Stars by Peter Heller.
Good afternoon from South Africa.I am Ronnie Van der Merwe. My newly released book came out last month. It is my first book.JUMPING OVER THE RAINBOW is about my experience as a young, black and very naive man working as an au-pair in Europe. It shows how this sometimes challenging experience assisted me in finding my true self.I got out of the closet after returning home.My book is on Amazon ( paper back and E-Book) as well as on Smashwords at 60%discount.

Hi. I am Asa Rodriguez. Nice to meet you. Hope we can connect here.
I just wrote my first non-fiction self-help book, "I always loved you. Creatures of eternal love." I seek to awaken people and bring awareness. My book is about love and the lack of it in the individual, in the world. The obstacles to love. The many mental dimension of love. The psychology behind relationship.
It talks about the feminine force--in man, in women, in life. The nihilistic mind and how it influences us. In short, it is spiritual/psychological, and it brings a depth that other books I have read in these topics do not have. Check it out!
