No Limits question

In the story, No Limits: The Will to Succeed, by Michael Phelps many things that go through Michael's head are mentioned in this book. However, me as a swimmer knows that it is no easy task to get to the level Michael has achieved. Michael may make it look easy, but behind the 22-time Olympic Medalist is a great load of hard work and effort. The truth is that the only thing Michael can do as a swimmer is give it 110% of his effort every time. However, over his illustrious career he has given 200% of his best effort. Michael worked really hard to get to where he is. In this book Michael mentions so many tough times Bob and him went through, and how eventually through a dislike of one another, made them become best friends. Michael mentioned how he had to adjust his school schedule in order to fit in practices in the morning so that he could get faster. How he even would have to even read books and learn new things to improve himself as a swimmer. Even how he would spend his birthday, holidays, Saturdays and Sundays, and every second he could after school training. All that Michael did was put in a massive amount of effort and dedication and after working as hard as he did for so many years and you go up and race the fastest swimmers in the world, you are highly likely to be at the top of the podium. Michael has always been a true inspirations for me and someone who I can look at and reminds me that hard work and dedication pays off. One of the more interesting parts of this book is when Michael is doing the 200 meters butterfly and his goggles get watery. This was impressive because only someone like Michael could swim with watery goggles, break a world record, and get the gold medal. A record which had already been Michael's. Overall this book is a great one. I highly recommend it to any athlete or person in general who wants to see what it takes to become an Olympic Champion or a great athlete, or even for someone who just wants to read about the excitement of a hard working man who through hard work and dedication persevered in accomplishing his goals.
