For Typhoon, there is a goddess of water, so maybe change it to ocean and water related catastrophes? And seeing as most gods and goddesses have no parents and few- in any- have godly children. Try to find something that has to do with each one's power and have them be born from it... and I'm not trying to be mean, I'm simply pointing things out.
