I am 15 and I never date anyone younger or older than me. By that I mean that they have to be in my grade. I did date one guy who was a year older than me, and I felt kind of weird. I know that sounds ridiculous. It was just always a rule of mine to keep away from drama and such. Well, then I met this man, I will call him a man because he is 26-27 years old while I'm still too young to drive without a parent. He was cute, he served our country (went for training and somewhere else), he's now a policeman, and he was just someone I instantly liked. I crack jokes about it with my mom, but I really did like him. Now I never see him because he got that new policeman job. We never had a thing. He's engaged and didn't know I had any feelings for him even as a buddy to say hello to. I know I may sound like one of those pathetic, lovesick teens, but my point to this was that I finally realized it's okay to like people that aren't just my age; maybe not a 26 year old policeman who's already engaged, though. :) I think that you shouldn't go too extreme. Like, if we had been together, I know it probably would have been inappropriate. Although, love does come in different sizes, shapes, races, and ages.
I'm 14, half my friends are sophomores now, because I'm the only flippin freshman on the team! I have now realized ninth grade humour really stinks. :)

As long as one is happy in the relationship, I don't think it should matter. However, I don't see myself dating someone who is more than 3 years younger/older than myself.
No, it shouldn't matter. I totally agree, Superlock.
My father and step-mother (whom I really consider more my mother than my actual biological mother, who did a crap job of raising me) are 19 years apart. :PI've dated people from 1 year younger than me to 30 years older than me. As far as I'm concerned, age doesn't matter. The only problem I have with dating people too much older than me is that I'm always aware that when I'm 40 they might be 60 or 70, and that's depressing as hell. >.<
I've dated older women. My fiancee is five months older than I am. Age doesn't matter.
I think that, so long as its legal, who cares. That said, I do think its kind of creepy when someone over 40 dates someone in their twenties.
It is creepy when someone in their late teens or twenties dates someone in their 40's. Very creepy.
My dad was 39 and my step mother 20 when they started dating. Nearly 5 five years later, they've been married for two years this summer, and have a one year old daughter. I don't think it's creepy. :P
I think we as a culrue see such relationships as creepy because its metaphorically pedophiles or ephobophiles

I think if a 30 year old dates a 16 year old that would be phaedophiley but if a 50 year old dated a 30 year old it's okay as a 16 yr old is a child. If you get my meaning.I've been married to a man my age and it didn't work out but my fiancee is a bit older than me and treats me better.I've been out with younger men and older men and the older men get my vote.
But it's up to the individual.
That's just my experience.
