The arrow wasn't lethal but his body was shut down. he can hear them in fragments but he doesn't wants to live.
Lena was faster than him. "THAT'S NOT MY NAME!!!!!" She shouted. She was sobbing as she ran. The man she loved had no clue who she was. What an amazing life she had.
Morgan flew faster, catching up quickly. "THEN TELL HIM YOUR NAME!" he said, rushing in front of her to block her path.
Nicki started sobbing, falling to her knees, her hands on her face. "Why?"
"We're all going to meet up there. I've just got to rail some things into Dra- Damian's head. I'll see you there."
"Maybe he doesn't remember, but maybe he WILL. What chance is there if you give up on him, though? None," Morgan said, landing.
Damian looked shocked. What was going on? That woman, his head, the orcs... It's all a bit too much.
"I'm just stupid. He doesn't deserve to be with me. He deserves someone better." Nicki said brushing past Morgan. She waked away towards Gondor. She would get a job at the library, and start out fresh.
She turned to Damian. "Look, you came here one time before, and had a life before you forgot it all. That girl happens to be your lover, or whatever, and you two were Sauron's slaves together. We have a free pass of Mordor, so go get her before she runs into a troll or something."
Morgan grabbed her shoulder. "And you really believe that? What makes you think that you deserve him. He's done worse than you," he said, sighing.Damian raised an eyebrow and grabbed his head. "What are you talking about!? I REFUSE THAT EXISTENCE. I'm NOT a monster," he growled, shaking his head at the memories.
"Yeah he has, that's true. You just wouldn't understand." Nicki said sighing. She shrugged his hand off her shoulder and continued walking.
(( good night ilsa sweetdrms))
Damian shook his head. He walked out of the dungeon and after Lena, determined to set things right. The memories he had didn't make sense. He wasn't like that, was he?
Nicki kept walking. Before they had left she had grabbed a pair of new clothes. She found a large creek, looked around, seeing nobody she quickly stripped washed off her wounds, and then slipped on her underwear and pants. She didn't bother to put a bra on. She bandaged herself from her waist to her chest, and then slipped on her sweater and combat boots.
Damian found her at the creek. "Hey, uh, Lena? It's me. Dam-Drax, I guess. I remember, mostly..." he called, awkwardly, trying not to watch her get clothed.
"Hi, Damian. It's fine, I know your name..." Nicki said. "But my name isn't Lena..." She murmured under her breath.
"What is your name?" Damian asked, walking towards her. He was confused, but he remembered his feelings. Mostly...
"Nicki. Nicki Byers." Nicki said sitting on a bolder. Her face was expressionless, and she sighed.
Damian looked up at her, and made a staircase of wind. "What's the sad face for, huh? I came after you, didn't I?" he asked, rolling his eyes. "I said I remembered."
Nicki shrugged. "I don't know. You just wouldn't remember, everything..." She said softly.
"Don't lie to me. Fiera told you. I was watching." Nicki said moving over a bit.
"She told me, but I remember. I was already remembering. You want to crack my head open and see, you can," Damian replied, trying not to seem hurt.
"I don't want to crack open that thick skull of yours. I just want to remember..." Nicki said.
"You want to remember what?" Damian asked, raising an eyebrow. He wasn't aware she'd forgotten something as well.
"What it's like to have someone love you back. I don't even know if i..." Her voice trailed off and Sh stared at the water.
Damian wrapped her in a hug. "What did I tell you? I remember. I love you, still," he said, rolling his eyes.
"But you forgot me. I wasn't in your memory! Can't you understand that? That means something Damian, that means something..." Nicki said sobbing into his shoulder
"No one here was in my memory. As far as I was concerned, I never left home. I'm sorry for forgetting you, but I didn't have the choice," Damian said, stroking her hair.
"What so then what happened to him?" Nicki asked.
"Nevermind..." Nicki said pulling away slowly. She brought her knees to her chest, and sighed.
Damian looked down and clenched his fist. "How am I expected to know if you don't tell me? Are you trying to push me away? What's with that!?" he asked, hurt.
"Your not the same! You don't care anymore! You don't care about me and how I feel. Drax did care, unlike some people. He was the only one, Damian and now you've murdered him." Nicki shouted before getting up and walking away.
"I've gone and murdered myself, huh? That's funny. I suppose I am feeling slightly suicidal," Damian growled to himself, laughing.
Fiera was left alone in Sauron's Fortress. She stuck her hands in her pockets and walked out, whistling to herself and walking in the general direction of Minas Tirith.
Damian decided to go fly back to the fortress, sighing as he sat in the rubble of the Dungeon. "Well!? Kill me, then!" he ordered, tired.
"I'm not quite sure you want that," a voice said. Melissa stood a ways behind him. "Fair warning, the dark lord doesn't have a pleasant ending for you."
