Marianne, I can't send you a message as your profile is set to private. Would you mind sending me a PM with the blurb of The Brothers Craft for me, and I'll copy and paste it into the book information? Thanks:)

Maggie Started, and finished, Divergent this afternoon. For a nearly 500 page book that's not good. I'll write my review soon. So now I'm on to my bonus book for the winter challenge, whcih I'll start tomorrow, Wildwood Dancing. Hopefully it will be better than Divergent.

Neko Haven't started just yet but this weekend I plan to plow through my ignored comic stack...Only so long I can put it off. I mostly do this so I can read lots of the storyline in one go rather than in bits and pieces :)

Danielle | 33 comments DBC Pierre's Lights Out in Wonderland. I am really enjoying it but others must not have because I bought it in a second hand store and it had a price tag from another second hand store still on it, which means it has been discarded by at least two people before it came into my hands! It has a home for life now, poor unloved book that it was...

message 2386: by Rosanne (last edited Aug 20, 2011 03:43AM) (new)

Rosanne Last night I started Man in a Mud Hut by Ian Mathie - it's the second in his series of narrative non-fiction about the time he was working in Africa for the British government. Extremely well-written and surprisingly engaging. For someone like me, who doesn't like exotic stuff, this is a real compliment to the author. The first in the series, Bride Price, was really good.

Rosanne Lesley wrote: "Rosanne wrote: "Last night I started Man in a Mud Hut by Ian Mathie " Lesley - you just might. He is doing a third as well - this is one humble, amazing man. The extraordinary life he leads is all real, and it's much stranger than fiction. Also, he writes about it without artifice. Brilliant.
