I'm reading What Happens In London by Julia Quinn. I like her chatty style. It's sweet and romantic.

Reading The Old Man in the Corner as a part of the winter challenge. The two parts that i have read were very similar..hoping it was just a coincidence :DAlso pixed up 5 or so books for the winter challenge from the lifeline bookfest for 50c each so :D
I've also never read a Jodie Picoult. I think I would like them though. Which would be best to start with?
Nineteen Minutes is IMO one of her best! Also My Sister's Keeper is really good. They'd be a good couple to start on Lesley! :)
those two are the only ones I liked so I would say start there! I liked sisters keeper more then 19 minutes
I've just started Bereft by Chris Womersley and after fifty pages know that I am going to love this book. He has a very lyrical style of writing and it is pretty easy to just read one more chapter so it won't take long on a wet long weekend. This book is short listed for the Miles Franklin Award.
I'm now reading another history book: Catherine de Medici, by Leonie Frieda. I've never read anything of hers before, but this book is very well written and I'm learning so much more about Catherine than the murderess and poisoner history has painted her as.
Finished reading
. Not quite what I expected in several ways, so used a little of the long weekend to add a review - here : http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
I've just started The Man Who Broke into Auschwitz..saw a review about it on the Today show a little while ago, and so I got it from my library!

Laura, ive been meaning to read that for ages. Let me know what you think. Brenda, Ive heard of the story-but not the book-before. Let me know your thoughts too.
Jess, I'm only a little way in, but so far it's got my interest. I only put it down last night, cos I couldn't keep my eyes open!
I'll let you guys know what I think :) So far so good but I've heard some people love it only in the 3rd part. Will be interesting to see what I discover overal :)

No work :s
Ahh okies..I noticed different cover as well. Does seem like a rather interesting book to read though overal.
Another one like that Michael is Bronte's Story. I've had it for awhile, and read it ages ago, but it was heartbreaking...you might be interested in reading it as well.
I have just finished City of Bones. Absolutely loved it. Now I'm starting the second book City of Ashes
No I didn't go to her signing. I'm so disappointed now. I wanted to read the series before she came but it didn't happen :(I heard you had a really great time thou :)
did you guys see the cast jace? in the movies
I just check the net Melanie. Jamie Campbell Bower is playing Jace. Mmmmm not sure if I like him. I think they could have got someone better for that role. I like Lily Collins for Clary...she's pretty :)
I'm reading a just-finished manuscript by an Aussie author, a wonderful book for tweens about a dragon who loses his powers and becomes a boy. It is absolutely fantastic. I can't tell you the name or author yet since the book hasn't even been submitted, but I have a good feeling about this one so I think you'll hear more soon. :)
Meanwhile, I've finished reading my way through all the Sookie Stackhouse novels (so far), and am back onto
, which is fabulous.

I have just finsihed listening to Flying Too High - this series is a lot of fun so far. I am currently listening to Ever After by Nora Roberts and Black Out and reading Cross Your Heart and I am enjoying all of them.

I just read the childrens book Go the Fuck to Sleep; it was amuzing but listening to Samuel L Jackson narrate was even better.

I just finished my first book of the Winter challenge, Ann Patchett's State of Wonder. I was so looking forward to this book, the premise of the story was intriguing, but I must say it was a huge let down. Nevertheless I still valued this book and gave it 3 stars. Here's my review: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
