Absolutely! No cliffhanger but characters you want to find out more about and a storyline that needs to be continued about the separate Londons. So you just have to read the next book:)

I am half way through reading Restless by William Boyd.

This book is set in two different timelines, World War 2 era and 1970s. It is a mother and daughter story, concerning spying and the manipulation of the press.

I've finished reading My Grandmother Sends Her Regards and Apologises by Fredrik Backman 5★. It is different to A Man Called Ove and Elsa does seem a bit too smart for 7, but he is so good at writing interesting, unique characters that I really enjoyed it.
