It doesn't end on a cliffhanger like I was sort of scared it would, at least.

Absolutely! No cliffhanger but characters you want to find out more about and a storyline that needs to be continued about the separate Londons. So you just have to read the next book:)

Currently reading
by Vanessa Diffenbaugh which I am loving. I had no idea flowers had meanings and could be used to have a 'conversation'.

I'd forgotten it too but the mention of your book's title reminded me. I did have to do Google search to find what I was looking for.
I am half way through reading Restless
by William Boyd. This book is set in two different timelines, World War 2 era and 1970s. It is a mother and daughter story, concerning spying and the manipulation of the press.

I've finished reading My Grandmother Sends Her Regards and Apologises by Fredrik Backman 5★. It is different to A Man Called Ove and Elsa does seem a bit too smart for 7, but he is so good at writing interesting, unique characters that I really enjoyed it.review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
The Anubis Gates was awesome (review here). The first book I've rated five stars since December (being Blood Meridian, or the Evening Redness in the West). And now I'm reading Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.
