Personally I don't think it's anything like Gone Girl which I didn't really enjoy:)

It's so good Michael. I'm surprised that I'm reacting to it quite strongly. If it continues at this level till the end, I'd be giving it 5 stars. :)

message 13713: by Mez (new)

Mez I have just started Landline by Rainbow Rowell. Interesting so far :)

message 13714: by MaryG2E (new)

MaryG2E (goodreadscommaryg2e) | 934 comments Initially I picked up this book for the April Challenge - Historical Fiction, but soon realised that it is really a piece of contemporary fiction (though it refers often to the past.) Once I'd finished my challenge reads, I was keen to pick up this murder mystery novel. I really enjoyed Case Histories by Kate Atkinson, and found it a genuine page-turner, which I read in less than 24 hours. 4★s

Do you like it? The series averaged out at three stars for me.

message 13718: by Sally906 (new)

Sally906 | 87 comments Yes I do so far - not a 5 star read but a solid 4 star at the moment. To many questions and not enough answers yet. But I am only a wee way in so we will see. I guess she is still world building :)

Ryan Finished the Hugo and Nebula winning Ancillary Justice. It was unique and intelligent but not especially enjoyable. I gave it three stars and wrote a review.

Next up is The Golem and the Jinni, by Helene Wecker.
