What Are You Currently Reading? (doesn't have to be an Aussie book)
Bette wrote: "I finished The Memory of Running by Ron McLartyMy review is at: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show..."
Excellent review Bette. You've really captured the essence of the whole book and reminded me why I loved it so much when I read it.
I really want to read House of Leaves again but also I don't want to kill myself due to brain confusion.Similar feeling about the new S., which I guess was heavily inspired by House of Leaves.

Sprung! You have eyes everywhere, Brenda!! Hey - it's just occurred to me - do you actually have a second pair of eyes?? That could explain your tremendous speed of reading...! ;-)
Michael wrote: "Brenda has many power's we don't know about Kathryn. :D"I'm sure her powers are boundless!!
Maybe you should change the tag after your name, Brenda, to Superwoman!

I definitely wouldn't go that far Kathryn! But I do need to change it:)

I feel like I can't take any credit, Bette as it's just a great book and I'm so glad I found it and in turn that you did. I knew the story behind the author not being able to get published and I just can't believe that we may have missed out completely!!! Funny thing is I picked it up for $5 at one of those cheap book warehouses. I couldn't believe my luck.
Currently reading The Forgotten Rebels of Eureka my November new release in Aussie Author challenge and The French Promise off the TBR list
STILL reading A Madness of Angels. Love it love it love it. Who dreams up these incredible things. Imagine blue angels in the telephone wires!

Finished The Burning by Jane Casey (4 stars) and started Not Dead Enough by Peter James (excellent so far).
I started reading MasterMind by Helen Goltz, but I have put it aside for the moment, I am about 30% in and have no idea what is going on. I have enjoyed her other books, but I am just not sure about this one. So I then picked up Hanging Hill by Mo Hayder, which I know will be a great read.
I finished A Madness of Angels. It was so good. I had to keep reminding myself I was not reading a book from the Dresden Files. It was very similar but only in the best possible ways. Now I have myself another series to follow.
Starting my HF book Possession next.

How far in are you with Serenade. Is it going well?

I had hoped to read War and Peace as part of a read-a-long this year but it was a fail. Maybe next year.

I actually am reading an Aussie book this time (unusual for me!) I started listening to The Hypnotist's Love Story and I like it so far. This is my first book by this author & I like the narration too.

The blurb sounds intriguing; will watch for your review."
I have mixed feelings about this book, Bette, but I will suspend my judgement until I've finished it :)
