He took her hand and kissed it lightly.
"I am sorry for my behavior." He said with a sad smile spread across his face.

We can continue our Rp if you don't mind))

((where would u like to continue from?)
((Eve, here!))
There was something weird about strolling in the Forbidden Forest during the last days of summer. Apart from the fact that the forest has the word 'forbidden' on it title, the sun piercing through the humongous trees, lighting hidden pathways and beaming all too revealing bothered Julian.
It was supposed to be a dark corner where anything would be able to hide, to disappear. However, during summer, there was no fog hovering above the mud, no shadows created by the large and forever-extrending roots of the trees, no sounds that sent chills up someone's spine.
Julian was bothered by it, since it reminded him of his life. The Forest was the way he was living; seemingly harmless, ordinary, bright while dark, dangerous and blurry on the inside. He was strolling through it quite often, able to enjoy moments of clarity. The young Lord had been too busy and had spent most of his vacation back in America, leaving Julian here as his eyes and ears.
Though Julian wished to return to the Families, he felt a hint of relief realising he would be utterly free to think, strategize what the next year should turn out to be.
He gazed far ahead as he stepped on a familiar path. While stepping on some yellow grass he heard footsteps from behind.
((If you want to use Kahlen, I have nooooo issue ^^))

((Yup, definitely going to use Kahlen. YAY! ^^))
Kahlen was wondering through the forest, wiping her eyes with the hem of her cardigan, her face pink and puffy from crying. In her pocket, a blue envelope peaked out innocently. The contents of the letter inside of the envelope, however, was almost anything but.
"I have chosen to expand our little family. I know this is probably a shock to you, but she is wonderful. I have a feeling you will like her, but my assumptions in regards to you are rarely correct. The wedding is in December and I expect you to make an appearance, bring a friend if you wish. She is a pure blood..."
That was where Kahlen had stopped reading, and had stuffed the letter back into its envelope. Of course, the one woman besides her mother that Kahlen's father would choose to love would be a pure blood. It took everything she had to not be repulsed by all pure bloods because of her father.
Kahlen also didn't understand how her father had failed to mention all summer holiday that he was involved with someone...romantically. Given, she had done everything in her power to see as little of her father as she could, she conceded that it was possible that he had been seeing someone.
Her eyes had been glued to the ground, but she looked up as she made her way around the base of a thick tree trunk, orangey sunlight peeking through the leaves of the tree. A thin, wirey figure was standing in the clearing in front of her, and he was instantly recognized.

Julian turned around to face Kahlen. His heart did jump a little, after all he had spent years avoiding her. His first thought was to run away, grasp on something and find an excuse to leave, as if evading her was his automated response.
After a few seconds though, new memories flooded his brain. The ball, their moment in the balcony, his plans for her. While his mind was rushing, his eyes noticed her red eyes and some dried up tear-rivers on her cheeks.
She was upset. Well, that wasn't awkward at all.
Julian cleared his throat, wondering what he should say. He didn't know how to interact with her anymore.
"Why are you crying?" he said bluntly. He cursed in his thoughts. His tone had come out somewhat rude, as if her crying was something that was too excessive a reaction.

Kahlen forced herself to stop sniffling, and she stood up straight. His green eyes that she knew so well piercing through her like a frosty breeze. A rush of emotion filled her to the brim, and a flood of memories engulfed her. She had known in her heart that this was how it would be when she saw him again, the last time had been on the balcony at the ball at the end of her year at Hogwarts. She unconsciously raised a hand to brush her hair, it's normal brown today, behind her ear.
Before she could open her mouth to say anything, his words hit her like a blow to the face, and she recoiled a little at the trace of spite in his voice. It was never what Julian said, it was always how he said it.
"I..." Kahlen wanted to talk with Julian like they had just two years ago. But she knew that the Julian that she wanted to talk with was no longer hers to call upon. "I'm not. I mean I was, but I'm not now." she cursed herself silently at being so thick, something about seeing him confused her beyond belief.

Julian took a deep breath. He looked at her, his eyes still trying to see through her own, to reach her mind and somehow find out what was happening without having to ask.
"It is your father again right?" he guessed. He took his hands out of his pocket and took a step closer to her. He could see her read eyes, puffed from the crying. He had never liked her father.
Time and again, while he was going through his training, inbetween all the hardships he would think of her. Her smile, her benevolence, her strong character. He would wonder how would she be like under these ciircumstances. He would crave for her company.
And now, that illusion was not out of reach. All she might need is the right push. But for some reason, something was stopping him.
((Sorry I am late! ^^))

((It's alright! My apologies as well!))
Kahlen's gaze was intense now, her eyes searching Julian's face. Where had this side of him been for the past two years? She felt like her body was folding in on itself in efforts to protect her, but she pushed all feelings of cautiousness out of her mind. This was as close as they had been to each other since the ball, and she found a sudden awkwardness in her arms and torso, not knowing where they typically fell.
At his words, Kahlen nodded slowly, her breath catching in her chest. She longed to hold him, and for him to hold her back. "Yes," not now. "He's getting married," she said carefully, not sure how much of Julian's words were out of concern or polite questioning.

Julian nodded in understanding. No surprise appeared on his face; he simply pressed his lips tightly, as if he was already expecting the happening as a fact. Hardly nothing would be able to surprise him anymore. Kahlen's father had always been on a black list.
He nodded for a second and then started walking towards Kahlen. He could see that she was feeling uncomfortable by his gaze, so he looked at her until he was within arm's reach. Then he took his eyes away, and passed by her only to sit on a thick, tall root that was creeping from behind her.
With hands still in his pockets, he looked at her once more. He had a handful of seconds until she turned to face him once more. Her back appeared stronger, straighter, despite her awkward standing.
"Why does that make you sad? Your relationship has never been the best." he said coldly. He cursed in his mind. He wanted to appear gentler.
Wait... why? How did that happen?
"You..." he paused. "He doesn't deserve that much care from you."
((heeeeey you, I'm terribly late, so sorry!))

((Hi Eve, I hope you are doing well! This RP is still open in case you want to continue it. If you are unable to log in anytime soon, I'll probably free up the space and we can continue it after you have some free time!))
There he was then, sitting next to her. "See, whatever it is I again say this I am really sorry." She shrugged and waited for him to start.
